This was my 1st time out on track since fitting the ARB's, coilovers and spacer's and I'm pleased to say the car did really well
I did have 1 small
problem though, about 15 minutes in going into Druids I felt something not quite right with the front left, I took it very slow back to the pit's to check for any damage, I was think the tyre might have let go. All the tyres were still in one piece but the fronts were very soft and covered in lumps of melted rubber, looks like I overheated the Yoko Paradas
This is what we found when they were replaced yesterday
Nice big blister on the inside edge, no wonder they let go
The rears did really well though and are showing no major sign's of wear.
After a bit of reasearch and asking around I decided to repalce all 4 Yokos with a set of vredestein ultrac sessanta,
They've only been on 1 day but thanks to our typical britsh summer they've already had a good dry and wet run, dry grip is very good, as good if not better than the yoko's but in the wet is where they shine, I took it round a roundabout that I know quite well, nailed it in 2nd gear with a small amount of lock and they just bite in and griped, now I know these are fresh new tyres but every other tyre I've had have wantesd to push on and udersteer off to the curb. I'd highly recomend these to anyone
