Thanks I'll have a look at that.

The car is off the road but things are still turning up for it. New TIP and elbow for the filter arrived today from SFS. Decided I wanted to keep the engine bay understated, so went for black instead of the usual red/blue.

Managed to destroy my rear bumper and damage a sideskirt yesterday in the torrential rain. Unfortunately the A12 had a small patch of flooding on it, and with a car next to me and a Range Rover up my backside I had nowhere to go, so feet off the pedals and firm grip of the steering wheel managed to see me through it. Damage is:

Difficult to see in the photos, but the bottom of the bumper has ballooned right out, neither the exhaust trim or the towing cover fit. Its also ripped all the mounting points on one side so its pretty much hanging off. Also ripped off the jack point cover from my n/s side skirt and also partially pulled the skirt off. New bumper ordered today from eBay, and I have a spare set of side skirts already. I don't know what the mechanical damage is, but it seems to knock when I turn right now.

Also couple of weeks ago OJ89 wired up my boost gauge for me. Cheers Owen!

Ta for the plug nick. I was going to try and straighten it up, but I had neither the time nor the tools to do it. Next time eh?

As for the puddle, I did the same with mine. Took 2 jacking point covers off, and balooned the bumper out. I'd taken most of the screws out of the arch already, so I could just refix it in one of the leftovers. Gutted for you though, it never rains, but it pours (no pun intended) Is the knocking at full lock? How are your mounts? Sounds ARB area IMO, but you'd need to look at it :(

Decided that if the car is going into the bodyshop for the rear bumper I may as well get all the issues sorted i.e:

Dent and rust on o/s front wing
Heavily chipped n/s wing
Damaged front bumper
Heavily chipped bonnet
Rusty rear arches
Rust on boot

With all these things, it's going to add up to a fair amount so as a temp fix until I get the funds together to sort them all, I decided to cable tie my rear bumper sort of back into shape.

Got new stretch on the front tyres to tuck the tread under the arch. Went for 195/45s.

Whilst fixing the bumper I noticed florescent green fluid dripping off the bottom of the exhaust tips. Any idea what it could be?

Washer fluid? Rear washer going okay still? What colour is the fluid in your reservoir? Only other 'fluid' is petrol, but last time I checked, petrol wasn't fluorescent....

Washer fluid is blue and the rear washer is fine. Plus the tubing for it is on the other side of the car to the exhaust.

Do the colours match anything in the bay? I'm struggling to think what could get down there. Nothing other than brake fluid, but then you'd likely feel that in the pedal...

I don't think so. Someone on vagingit thought it might be unburnt fuel.

Could be.... but unburnt fuel is pretty bad news too, to get to the exhaust! Got a standard Cat etc on? Had any overfuelling/bad mpg?
