I got my SSS wrapped and the tailgate spoiler in gloss black and its looking great + saved a lot compared with if I'd let Seat paint and fit it! Jack 1 - 0 Stealers

I've still not decided what I'm going to do exhaustwise yet, still looking at a custom one, just need to save some money up lol. I've found someone local to remap it though and he's offering the Revo 20% discount until the end of this month

Nah I didn't go to inters was skint from going to Tenerife and buying insurance and road tax...was planning to get it mapped at inters as well if I didnt go on the stag...did you go?

Yes mate, basically... SUPLEX (the company I work for) owns an MG F, because we developed a Hydragas replacement kit for them (as with time they leak out the nitrogen gas in them and all the tooling to make them was scrapped when Rover went into receivership). Last weekend our MD and his mate that lives in Bournemouth went to Classic Le mans, our MD went in his Morgan and his mate in the MG F, when they got back our MD drove his Morgan back to Chesterfield and the MG F was still in Bournemouth, so I went to pick it and drove back today calling in at Nitron, Triple Eight, and about 5 other Motorsport company premoting the SUPLEX Racecoil range. So thats the summary of my day haha.

Mines due for renewal 1st Sept, and atm I've got quotes of £501 with admiral . 3 years no claims and 4 years driving.

Cars looking good Yale, Shame about your oil issues though. Id rather them fix the problem than keep topping it up. Bad look finding a nail and glass in 2 tyres.

Yeah it was a right bitch finding the glass after the tyre with the nail had been sorted out...buy so far so good no air has come out.

I want to remap it so bad but 600 is a lot to save up so its gonna have to wait...how much was your jabba the hut map ? Got the milltek to get first which shouldnt be long!

APR is around 500 sorry..I think, same price as revo but without the discount obv. Well judging from the thread, people have had problems with the revo maps and customer service is poor apparently whereas APR are excellent...I keep changing my mind though lol. I'm gonna look around abit first because I want a dsg map and my mate showed me a company that does dsg maps so need to find out which company it is as I cant remember and ask them if they can do a 1.4tsi dsg map. Also APR upgrades to stage 2 is free apparently as well whereas you have to pay to go to stage 2 with revo...even though its only £50 more I think?
The main thing on my mind though is the milltek exhaust first...once that is out the way then I'll think about the map...or I might get the ITG kit after the exhaust THEN get a map.

EDIT...also APR can store diff settings and you can change them via the cruise control stalk whereas you need the SPS for revo which costs abit extra as well

I got 600 from reading a APR thread in the mk2 leon section...prob less for the cupra. Revo is 400 without the discount but then you got the VAT to add on as well so under 500? I might have a look with Jabba as well...just keeping my options open at the mo.

Yeah they can cover me for remaps...well I chose the option to see how much it bumped my premium up and it was only an extra 30-40 quid....I think its because you're 18 mate, I'm 24 (25 in Sept) so I've got the driving experience and I think quite a lot of boc/cupra owners are with admiral and had maps on their cars

Messaged awesome and the Apr map is 399 plus VAT, the switchability from setting to setting might not be available dueto New developments and the bhp figures are expected to be 215-220 which is the same with revo. Now I have to decide which map to get in the next few months!

*UPDATE*

Ordered some bulbs for the dipped and sidelights and took my car in to get my wheels refurbed and sprayed today..I absolutely LOVE my car more and more everyday!!!

You got any links for these bulbs? I'm looking for ones just like these but have no cambus errors.

Well it's confirmed that I will be picking up my soon to be milltek cat-back exhaust on Tuesday then hopefully get it fitted on Wed or Thurs (fingers crossed its Wed!! ) Mate said that his dad will fit the exhaust on for me as he did with my springs.

Don't know whether to get the tips a darker colour so they blend in with the car...I've got a spare sheet of carbon fibre left but would wrapping the tips be a waste of time due to the heat it gives resulting in the wrap start peeling off?..any ideas?...And less of the leave it dirty gags!
