OEM turbo at the pod?

Probably give it a go at York.

Yep oem turbo, just the driver seat, R888's, Vpower.

I did the 12.9 with a 60ft of 2.36 which is pretty poor really but it was on off drizzle and a headwind so theres defo more in it. No WMI either and as said, oem clutch on 45k miles.

Putting the Loba organic with smf in which should help.

Will be interested to know what you think of that clutch kit. The Southend kit appears not to be what it was cracked up to be

Sounds like your gonna do it then!

I need to give the likes of york a try, its tarmac surface?

People say the pods meant to be sticky, but everytime im there I just spin up, whether it was the cupra or the TTRS. Can launch the TTRS fine on the streets though

Is it the "silent" smf kit you have? Im gonna trust Loba and give it a shot, they said i wouldnt be disapionted in the kit.

At york they have a really slick surface for people running drag radials and a more concrete type abrasive surface for what i presume is road tyres. Ive had 2.2's with normal road tyres there but i wasnt stripped at the time so.......

Well, after some appalling early runs on Saturday where I discovered just how bad I am at launching the car with the mods I have, I eventually managed a 14.03 @ 111mph (60ft time 2.480).

Really wanted to be in the 13s, but my goal was to cross the line @ 110+ which I did four times including 112 twice. Couldn't catch the damn Scoob I was racing though as he obviously had no issues at launch!

Where was this at also? Nice trap speeds either way and shows for a healthy car.. ;)

Car spec is as per my sig - Stage 2+ Revo. I live on the Isle of Man and each year we have Straightliners.co.uk come over at TT and Manx Grand Prix to mainly run 1/4 mile sprints at an old airfield for all the bikers that are over for the races. The local drag racing club organises it and rwyb days at the same time. I missed the one in June 'cos my clutch hadn't been replaced.

I was crap for the most part at getting a decent launch and in second gear I think I was getting a lot of wheel spin (TC off). The last run which was my best I think I had accidentally left the TC on, but I still feel that the middle part of the run wasn't great. Its hard to be objective without similar machinery there on the day.

You should defo be in the mid to late 13's mate. I ran a 13.88 at inters on stage 2+ with no TC as my ABS pump was shot. Still decent times though so congrats.

I have to say I was hoping for mid 13's, but was determined to hit 110 at least. Wish it was a 1/2 mile as the Scoob wouldn't have looked as good then!

Ultrac Sessantas on the front as I fancied a change from the RE050's I had worn out.

Did drop the pressures by ~3psi on the front and upped the rears. Maybe need to by another wheel (I have one spare at the mo) and get some better rubber.
