How you finding stage 2+? Whats it like putting the power down?

mine is stage 2 now, and getting the power down is the hardest thing in 1st and second i need more practice to launch at a higher RPM, which will bring my 0-60 down a lot.

First is hard to use all the gear, second is better but you have to keep the throttle down sort of flat shifting.

i will be doing a lot of runs tthis weekend so cant wait really.

Some advise mate, REVS = 3500RPM max for the launch and feather the throttle. You wont have as much wheel spin then short shift to second at about 5500RPM again feathering the throttle until you have changed to third. then you can plant your foot right down, if the track is dry hehehehe. I did that on my last run at inters and managed a 0-60 time of 5.68 seconds with a damp track.

Sounds goodill try that ned some proper advicereally so hope there is some 1/4 veterans at pod on sunday.

Also i read that in the mk1 LCR they are launching at 5.5krpm - 6k rpm?

How the hell do they keep the power down or is it launch then straight into second keeping the turbo spooled?

14.3 is possible in a standard Leon Cupra. 14.0 is also possible in a standard Leon Cupra with decent tyres and no interior.

May be worth a try although using first gear is a must for most of the lads with quick times :)

So wish I could have been there this year (three years since I was there with r32oc). Getting my Loba kit fitted on Monday (Sachs organic and lightened flywheel) so I can at last get back to not having clutch slip - has been happening in third recently so I dropped the boost a bit... :(

Won't be long mate until your beast is back on full boost! I got my release bearing and bolts replaced at the same time - Hope this helps.

My other mate replaced the master/slave cylinders too hehe

Who's was the black LC that did a very early run when it was soaking wet, and basically wheel span all the way up the strip with its tyres smoking...
