I'm researching the possibilities for an uprated intercooler, and also found the "lesser" known Seat Sport intercooler, which is the default kit for an Ibiza FR TD (from a certain year). I'm wondering who has slapped on this piece of ace kit on his Leon 1.8T, and which parts have been used. I already found out the part nr's and found out the prices around here. Its considerably cheaper than a Forge FMIC kit, and found out via a known tuning company in the NL that the Forge one is a tad restrictive and there are better options out there.

Will it fit with the Forge Ibiza kit? Im running a Leon with the Topsport bumper and would want to keep my fogs.

worth noting i found the forge cooler restrictive after 270bhp but im more prone to think it was its twin pass system and pipework more than the cooler itself.
If this is going to end up with a bigger turbo on it Id only be looking at a single pass cooler.

The THS Golf 4 kit can be made to fit an Octavia VRS1.8T without to much trouble, so can't see it being much of a problem on a Leon, they are all basically the same car underneath.

Do you know what mods were needed to make the intercooler fit??

I also want to know that. The THS kit also comes with a better performing "pancake" replacement for a fraction of the price of the Forge kit.

I'll see if i can find the relevant link and post it up, from what i can remember fitment is very similar to the Forge intercooler, think one of the hoses needed extending a couple of inches and the bumper bar needed some grinding back to avoid rubbing.
