It works well on red alright imo. I always thought white would be cool with white wing mirrors and grill surrounds but saw cupra alloys in white somewhere and didnt like them, made them look small or something.
I'm thinking of going with anthacrite (or mayble slightly lighter) with a sparkle. Then paint my front badge, grill surround and rear badge to match
If I were you, I'd get them lighter than they are currently. They look spot on when clean and sparkling, but after ten minutes of driving, they look matt black
Keep them Antracite
Or do them like mine
I love the colour of your wheels but I plan on spraying all grills gloss black so no point trying to match it to the original grill colour.
Not much to update really. Swapped the motor from my old headlights to my new ones so now the leveller works again.
Also adjusted my headlights as best I could and I think the beam pattern seems a little better.
Since I don't like to update without a pic, here's what the motor looked like:

Not really an update but I've spent some time messing with the car because I'm pretty broke

The plastic trim on the boot had two clips broken that were rattling so stuck some foam over them and it's done the trick:
Also made a start on my custom honeycomb front grill:
As you can see, hate updating without pics. Here's a quick one to show how badly she needs a wash:

Couldn't agree more. They are in my shed but need nuts (and ideally refurb and new tyres). Got NCT in July so wont even think about putting them on until after that.
In one week I'm off uni for summer so will get a chance to detail her.

Why do you need nuts? Standard bolts are fine

No. You see as long as you have an NCT booked and you have proof of that, it's still legal. So I have an email printed off in my glovebox saying I'm booked in for July and that's fine. If I'm stopped by the gardai they can't say anything to me. When I get my NCT then it's only valid for two years from last April.
I need to get my twin headlights wired up though because if they check the high beam I'll fail.

Nope I was just busy and knew I wouldn't have a chance to sort the lights out unless I booked it for July. Usual waiting time is only a few weeks. You book it online.
Does the MOT work in a similar way?
No lol the mot only lasts a year and once it's out your mot needs to be pretty soon not two months later lol otherwise the car is unroadworthy

Harsh enough. NCT lasts for two years until the car is 10 years old, then it's only one year. So this will be her last 2 year NCT
