It's credit to previous owners not a bit of rust it's like a new car , was set to buy a mk4 4 motion and this popped up would of been stupid not to

I think you should paint the detail between the badge yellow so you don't end up with a black rectangle on your boot. So you end up with the opposite of what I have on mine:

My thoughts exactly. Red going on tomorrow just didn't fancy leaving the boot open tonight. Yours is looking good. Where did you get the letters from for the cupra r?

Ahhh ok, nice one mate. I got the lettering off the bay, I had originally tried to get the R (its off the mk2) from my local SEAT dealership, but the parts monkey didn't have a clue what I was going on about so i just walked out.

I cleaned my car using 2 buckets method, only to go inside to get my polish to return to what could only be described as the BIGGEST bird turd I've ever seen. Not one but two

I'm not convinced I like it and it needs touching up when the paint has hardened.

good effort mate, but not sure the red goes. Your car though, if your happy then who care what others think. Could you not get the yellow mixed up anywhere?
