You need:
Cutting pliers
Glue (I used Locktite 435)
2x 1M0853651J Cupra Honeycomb Grille
Time needed:
I spent about 3 hours, painting included.
Cost:
£15 for each 1M0853651J (i needed only one, as I had one)
£5 or less for glue
£? Cutting pliers. Chances are you have access to one.
Hints:
LOOK TWICE, CUT ONCE!
BEAR IN MIND THE ANGLES!
The new grille, almost a shame to cut it!
Old one on the left, new one on the right. They weren't 100% identical..
Press the chrome S out with your thumbs.
Cut the right hand piece out, (roughly 0,5+1+1+0,5 spaces wide) preferably from the older grille.
Confirm that it covers about half the area.
Repeat for the left hand side.
Cut the S frame out of the grill you're going to use.
Start trimming the bits to fit.
Remember that the bigger gap you make, the more you have to rebuild.
To this point I only used glue and plastic chips to do this..
Then glue it in places. Mentioning that the placement are very important shouldn't really be necessary?
Due to some poor cutting I had to do a couple of small bits! Even harder to do proper than the big ones!

Starting to look like something.
I cut off the pins at the back, making the whole thing smoother and nicer.
Though I doubt they show from the other side.
Then I sanded the front to even it.

Theres still a couple of flaws..
Trimmed it some more before I was off to paint it.
Gave it several layers of matte black. (I painted the other grilles matte black prior to this!)
Results:
It should be noted that I still need to smooth mine some more, then paint it again.
