fuel pressure regulator playing up
there is a write up on here or vwaudiforum about repairs to these
the camshaft posistion sensor probably came on due to excessive cranking of the car to get started

The car has never failed to start so we can count out the excessive cranking.

Camshaft Position Sensor all sorted BUT....

Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276) P2293 - 000 - Mechanical Malfunction..

New fuel filter fitted and new HPFP fitted but the car wonte start

It got recovered to the bro inlaw's garage today, its a not looking good, suspect intake camshaft failure.....

Golf GT Sport TSi 140 model 2008
I change HPFP but the problem still remain, dear friend Damoegan do you found any solution?
I can't found any solution from group VAG official service-dealers

You wont like my reply my friend...

It turned out to be a screw had dropped into the timing chanin causing the timing to chump, resulting in 5 snapped valves
