Good work on the brakes and refurb coming up soon :)

Nice to see people still throwing money at the LCR's.

Performance brake bleed £70.50 ? Considering the work that they did, they saw you coming. I'm surprised they haven't charged you for putting your wheels back on too.

REFURBING STEERING WHEEL & GEARSTICK.

Have wanted to do this for a long long time but just couldnt be bothered to do it. As you will see in a minute they were in a right state. Even to the point where i was going to buy both of them brand new again. Ok some before, during and after pictures. At the moment they look good, but it is only a temporary measure.

SFS 3" T.I.P.

Well after running the old Forge item for nigh on 5 years, i succumbed to temptation to all this talk about these new 3"TIPs. Lucky for me, SFS is just around the corner from me, and after a brief phone call managed to get the pipe for £100 cash.

Wanted to get it on asap as i hate things laying around. I wasnt expecting anything radical tbh as its only a bit of piping. A friend of a friend fitted it for me. I took it around the block and do you know what? Felt no too much different to the Forge item.

Floored it in second, same power as before. But flooring it in third was a different experience. Felt like it was pulling better. Now dont get me wrong, my car must have the lowest torque figures ever for a remapped LCR but has high BHP, and i could feel it. The TIP is not night and day different, but an improvement nonetheless.

After looking at the boost gauge playback after a few power runs, the car is holding just over 1.3 bar. Whereas before 1.2? Now something seems wrong here, but for some reason third and above gives me a good rush nowadays.

Next its exhaust time...finally

Cherry Blossom mate from any tool shop/hardware store. Works a treat.

Theres a guide on here somewhere. Basically wash the wheel down, then apply 'leather cleaner'. Wait to dry, apply 3 or 4 coats of Cherry Blossom (buff up inbetween coats with a lint free cloth), then aply 'leather care cream' on last.....WHOLLA!!

Good to see this car is still progressing DOLBY, exhaust would be superb addition. You've got to go stage 2 at some point, that would finish it off.

Gotta be one of the cleanest, most subtley yet tastefully modified cars iv seen in a longgg time! No expenses have been spared here have they?! jeez! Shame about the c0ck that crashed into you! I wouldve been literally heartbroken! Some people just do not have any shame!!!

If you do ever decide to sell, whoever gets this next will be one happy person!

Pulling hard in 3rd and 4th you'll notice the greater airflow and therefore more power over the Forge... Bigger bore TIP's are a must IMO if you want more than a standard 280bhp stage 2 car.

Exhaust and stage 2 dude this car needs it to finish it off..

Wow cheers man, yeh I try and look after it as much as I can. It's showing wear and tear ATM but will be sorted shortly, have/will be ordering a bunch of new stuff (big & small) for her in the next few weeks. Seems I have the bug back....

Small things.
• Replacement SEAT wheel caps
• Paint Brembos with new decals
• Yellow DV spring
• Carpet shampoo all upholstery.
• Repaint front/rear bumper & new splitter
• Wheels refurbed HYPER silver again

Bigger mods
• Arches rolled.
• Fit intercooler and CAI
• Finally pay for my new exhaust
• Revo stage 2

Oh cheers t0m, it's nearly there. Everything left is a 'final major blowout' on the wages and should be next few weeks.
