What are the switches at the bottom for ?

you probably dont want to know tbh cause its sad

i was bored one day so made a little box out of wood and covered in leatherette that fits into the ashtray area, put 2 switches each side of it and installed a K.I.T.T. style voicebox in the middle. Its wired up to the right speaker so it reacts to sound thats played through it. You can just unplug it and pull it out if not needed, its nothing permanent. Its funny if you got a handsfree call with this turned on, its like the cars talking to you.

ill take a quick video

the LED voice module i got 2nd hand from ebay USA for about £25 from someone that was selling an unfinished KITT replica car project. Its made by an american company called Jupiter electronics that specialize in KITT replica parts. I just made a house for it out of thick card and covered it. its powered and earthed from the headunit and is also wired to the right front speaker to react to sound. If i ring my mum on handsfree she becomes the voice of the car via the voice module. It serves no purpose other then some nostalgiaic fun.

Love what you have dont to the whole car, wish i had the wedge to do all that! Your filter is a jetex? what is the diameter of the hose with the MAF in? cheers Josh.

Hi, the maf is 80mm and the jetex is 75mm. Just used a silicone hose reducer to join the two.

And here's one just before I had to pay £10 to be pulled out of sinking sand. Car wash beached and wheels spinning mid air

Fitted the Golf MK4 black leather rear bench with pull down armrest\storage box.

Doesn't have the middle headrest, although i did like having 3 headrests, makes seeing out the back window a little easier through the interior mirror. I've also got to install a middle lap belt as the belt pulled down from the top on my old leather rear bench which was built into the seat.
