Awesome update. Looking forward to seeing what wheels you go for next as these looked spot on. Agree with you 100% on the overpriced parts for us VAG lot

Great to see you drop back in mate. Cracking update as usual :)

Congrats on the new addition to the family too, sounds like you've been a busy boy!

Loving the plans, and as El has said, I'm interested to see which way you go with the wheels now. Fancy selling me the CH's for a reasonable sum? ;)
I'm sure you'll find a decent damping setup with the new suspension, but keen to hear your thoughts on them mate.

Glad the car is running sweet and rapid! Still my favourite LCR on the forum.

Nice to hear, the boys in the Jap scene seem to rate them and all the stuff in the VAG is overpriced IMO.

Re the stiffness, there are 36 way damper and rebound adjustable, let's hope I find a happen medium between comfort and handling.

Yeah they were epic coilovers on the corolla, best purchased I made for it. The dampening does help and I didn't mind the ride at all, other people who I knew used them seamed to moan at times.

The only reason they are like this is because the top mount on them is metal & not rubber like some coilovers I believe!!

Great update.
Fantastic news about your wee boy.
Coilovers look very nice too.
Shame your still having clutch issues, hope these haven't damaged the clutch any.
Looking forward to RR figures

Cheers Lads, the jury is still out on what alloys to get, there are sooo many out there, i had saved pictures of these ones that i quite liked.I am defo only going 18" this time round and they must have a sport/aggressive look about them.

Another problem is how much i will get for my BBS CH, there geniune 19" with a custom paint job and immaculate, its hard to know these days, everybody expects something for nothing, blaming the recession, i know times are tough but some people only use it as an excuse.

I just need to find out what some of these are!

i love the momo sportec wheels but prices are silly, currently looking at buying some rota force in gun metal grey :) what happened in the end with your hybrid turbo and the issues you were having?

G-Day Paul, hope is all well with you, i see your RR is going good, thats gonna be a mean a$$ setup, cant wait to see the results.

The car is going super good at the moment, but it was a lot of work to get here and a LOT of fcuking around, these hybrid are only good with WMI to get them over the final hurdle, but over all i can't complain.

The Rota force are nice, wonder what the fitment would be like though.

These arrived earlier, i will get more pictures tomorrow as the light was poor and my camera has to many settings for me to be bothered with, i'll just stick with the good old natural light thank you.

As said the build quality is awesome, from the packaging they came in down to the documentaion, including installation instructions, adjustment documentation, FULL TUV cert including the extension testing and results carried out on the hardware and more.

I rea llylike the way you adjust the ride height, you don't compress the spring like conventional coilovers moreover the whole coilover extends or retracts to give ride height, the only time you place tenstion on the spring is to adjust the spring rate, i need to read up on this though!

The Rota force alloys have an excellent fitment. I've had the alloys on my car for nearly 4years now and done afew trackday's with them. The best part and the main reason why I bought them is cause the rims are light which works for me as my cars stripped out....

I like these coilovers big time.
My mate has a set up like these on his MK2 Toyota Aristo.
They are far better to adjust as you can adjust the ride height seperately from the spring compression.
Sounds like your nearing the end of this labourious process and soon you'll be able to just drive the mo fo.
