Cheers hurdy informative as always!- I would of forgot about a helmet lol. Wonder what jabbas map will do. Its quite progressive power is more in top end compared to the large torque advantage most other maps seem to have. Should be interesting. How much petrol will I need. . . Hmm don't wana carry too much around lol!

You'll probably have much less of a traction issue than the rest of us mate. Plus once your off the line and have good traction your above 5k anyway so your in the power.

Reference fuel: remember its only a 1/4 mile. Ragging it around on track would limit 1/4 of a tank range to 50 miles, so thats a fair few runs up the strip lol

At GTi Festival today, amazing sun all day, did 4 unbeaten runs, but had to back off during 1st run as 2 warning lights flashed up and went down to 3 cylinders. Quick reboot and it ran perfect all day, best run of 14 sec at 99mph into a strong headwind. Filled up when I left the track and fuel guage still says full now I'm back in Dorking, 40mpg+. In car footage on Youtube.

Boooo, I couldn't get to this today, so the fact it has been sunny all day too just rubs salt in the wounds!

What were your 60' times IRB?

60' time for the best run was 2.3028 and 1/8 mile speed was 81.11. this compares with a Feb RWYB run - 2.4248 and 81.54, this run was a 13.99 at 100.38mph - less grip at the start and no headwind accounts for the different times. If it hooks up to the tarmac and the wind blows down the track the difference is low 13's. The 2009 50K Lotus Evora did a 13.9 1/4 at 101mph with 276bhp according to Autocars measurements. Wonder if I won Class B?

First run the car wasn't up to temp and decided to go into slow mode half way down the track, I parked up and started it a few minutes later and it fixed itself, all warning lights gone, ran like a dream rest of the day. Two Bocs there, a white one on a stand and a dark red one running in the wrong class (G?) Bit short of MK5s, plenty of earlier ones + Leons.

I need to get mine down under 2.4 at the strip. :(
