I ordered some more carbon fiber yesterday aswell for the new splitter which also arrived today so it looks like it's going to be a busy weekend :D

El these plugs are awesome, been running them for a year and my mate who services my car swears by them for stage 2 LCR's. Cold rating is 7 and they went on at the same time as the 3" TIP last year when my car jumped from 283bhp to 300.5 on the rollers.

Start up was quicker too. Very worthwhile doing these. Have been impressed and will continue to use them myself.

My mate thinks I am mad running the OEM plugs on the power I am at, said it should run better with them on. Just been tied up with other stuff.

BTW I hate you both as you keep tempting me to changing TIPs grrrrr!! ;)

Get the plugs mate, get it done :)

The TIP is good mate, mine's back to it's best and a bit more but I have replaced the MAF aswell as the air filter so it's a mixture of all of it really.

+1 on those plugs, I was getting slightly high CFs after Revo stage 1 before I fitted mine, nearly zero now so I can advance the timing a bit further for more off and on boost response and power :)

Yep it's running OE plugs at the moment, they've been in there 2 years now so I'm hoping I'll see a big improvement.

If we get time tomorrow I'm going to test fit the splitter while it's up on the ramp.

Oil, filter and plugs changed today, all went well till the sump plug with the oil temp sensor snaped :( so for now the oil temp guage is'nt working :(
Whilst the car was up on the ramp I was able to have a proper look at how to attatch the new spliter, it looks like it's going to be a bumper off job, so it's not going to be on for the AmD RR Day :(

Sorry to hear about the oil temp sensor snapping mate :(

On the splitter it's a shame but at least it will be done properly when you do get round to doing it.

How does the car feel for new plugs, or have you not driven it much yet?

Are you about tomorrow morning? I might pop round for the mani cover. Will be early though before the roads get busy. I need to clean my car and do a few jobs to mine tomorrow too.

I only drove it home from the gargage and put it to bed mate so I've not really had a chance to see if any better.

After looking at the spliter again I've got a few concerns about just how low it's going to be and how I'm going to attach it.

We're poping out in the morning and migh be coming over your way mate ;)

Ok mate see how it goes after a bit of driving.

Hope you can sort out the splitter doubts and get it sorted as it looked a great size when measured up last week.

Sounds good, give me a shout if your popping by. I will most likely be outside getting stuck into my car as there's loads to do.

Darren can't you attach it to the LCR splitter? Maybe attach it to that seen as that one can come on and off with ease?

Not really mate theres not enough of the plastic splitter at the end's, Also to fit and remove the plastic splitter you have to bend it, if I attach the board tto it it wont bend.
What I was going to do was drill and drop a bolt down inside the 2 front supports, these will have to have spacers on them so they pull up tight, then drill 2 more bolt holes around the side's and bolt it the bottom of the bumper

I've decided not to carbon it for now, instead it will be filled and prayed gloss black.
The cost of the material's along are around £80 which is a lot concidering it might not even stay on the car, if all goes well and it does fit well and is useable then it will get wraped :D
I've cut a bit more out of the back of it today to give a bit more clearance to allow for the under tray to be removed easily.
Filler the grain with P38 filler and sprayed with filler primer, I've got Thrusday and Friday off this week so hopefully I should be able to get it finished and on for the AmD RR day.
