Haha no, I didn't mean it in a patronising way :(

Love you xxx

 Consider it done.... Once I've smoothed the front recess properly :)

You may get a PM from me about the magnets mate at some point depending if I go ahead with what I have been thinking of doing.

Smooth recess? Do it ;)

arun said he was fitting some DRL`s so i assumed he meant the led type lights that go on the front somewhere. not sure if he meant the US sidemarkers though?

I think he meant the sidemarkers phil, as they use normal sidelight bulb holders, and can be wired into sidelights, so they stay on orange when lights are on, like in the US.

Over there they are like Volvo's, they always have them on.

This is all my assumption, as I doubt Arun would have DRL's lol

KNEW IT lol, knew you wouldn't do that, looks tacky as FOOK.

Yeah them Side markers look spot on, shame they are like £80 for mine (missed 2 sets for £15, as they literally go in secs when come up) as they are same on S14 and S14a :( lol.

Good work Arun babes

I'm out in the States just now... and to be honest I think the orange side markers look minging, not a fan at all!

But who knows... maybe they'll suit a UK car better. Will have to wait until we see the pics!

I was shocked the other day, I saw a Bora Estate :-o it keeps reminding me of your car Arun!

(well... a Jetta actually, but they're the same...)

Just out of interest, where do they wire up to Arun?

Depends on how I want them working, can bridge them off the sidelights to run along with them, but I want them on with the ignition so a bit more work is required, mate of mine is sorting that though :)

Upgrade the rear brakes this weekend hopefully, change all the discs, then pick up wheel centres next week and build them all back up ^_^

Got on with fitting all the new discs and the bigger rear brakes today;

Brakes off

Then realised the new discs were too big to fit the splash guards, so whipped the grinder out

Lowered the rear back down, just got to get my new wheels built and on now! Can't wait!

Oh and people say they can't manage winter in lowered cars, I got through at this height driving it daily ;)
