Oh! Thats weird. Normally coilies are skinnier that standard shocks and springs. When will they be arriving!?

Apparently spacers got dispatched yesterday, which is stupid I ordered them a week ago. So hopefully soon.
However last week we tried some universal spacers and they were too close to the brake pads, hoping these aren't they same otherwise I've got to order specific 6J Eibach spacers which are almost £40
Fingers crossed though!
Then i'll have to go through the terror of watching the car being hit with a hammer to wedge things off. Suspension wise not the car itself lol.

Lame! I had the joy of trying to remove one of my rear wheels when going to paint the drum. It would not budge. It was all rusted up and in such an awkward position. I had to kick it off!.
Playing with the suspension worries me though, as I would keep thinking the car is going to collapse lol.
I wanted to try and install a ARB if I ever get one. it looks simple. But the fact you have to remove the shock, and then push it back up to get the bolt though worries me. I dont think Ill have enough strength to push it back up and get the bolt through!

My boyfriends brother couldn't believe how rusted some of the bolts were already on a nearly 2 year old car!
Defo know what you mean, after we put the front wheel back on I drove him thinking please don't come off lol.
Yeah thats what all the banging on the front suspension was about, having to push the shock up. It wouldn't budge, so in the end just whacked at the supporting bits whilst weighing down the brake discs to get it to budge.

New little addition to the car.
I know they aren't the same on either side, my hands were freezing and before I knew it, it had stuck down. Be careful of the wind if you're only holding one side
We'll see how long they last before I get annoyed that one isn't the same as the other.

Looks good Char, did you only get one set? I am sure your supply can sort you another set if you ask him nicely........
Hahahaha, it was Loz. He was admiring my ride too much and missed it and took me with him...true story. Defo coming up to Inters again, it was awesome. Just next time me and Loz will put on suncream on in the morning! Not after midday when it was BOILING.
Cheers Jas I have asked him nicely for just 1 for the left side. I took it off in the end but kept the drivers side on as I like that position. My Mum approved alot so thats all good.
Just ran outside between baking my cupcakes in the oven (multi-tasking), to finally change my number plate light. Looks awesome now against the pressed plates.
