You have to buy them seperate but they just don't tell you that. If you don't have them its gonna hit the drive shaft and ARB.

No not slammed lol, but it needs to get low.

Ford Puma drop links arrived today, god knows if they are short enough, I cant remember how long the others were lol.

If they aren't they'll probably get chopped and welded at the right length.

Waiting for the spacers now, if they are too close to the brake pads then I'm going down the Eibach route. At least I know they will fit 100%!

We'll wait and see.

Huh? I'm keeping them.

Hence why I have bought shorter drop links and spacers to ensure that lowering the car will not cause anything to hit the ARB or drive shaft. And the spacers to give clearance on the tyres from the coilovers too.

Not point in getting rid as the next person would then have to do the same, unless you keep the springs standard height you don't need shorter drop links, but that would be beyond the point of coilovers. Its only V-Maxx coilovers that need the shorter drop links.

What size spacers have you gone for?

I'm considering some. As a rough measurement to get the wheels lined up with the arch it will only be a 3-10mm spacer.

5mm spacers, just to ensure tyre clearance at the mo. Then after we're gonna see what it's like.

Shouldn't need extended bolts for 5mm either as told by Al at Awesome. Once mine do arrive and hopefully go on ok (without having to go down the eibach route!) I'll get pics up.

Thanks!

Haha, nothing wrong with being a big kid. Trust me on that one, got figures of things all over my house!
Was looking at lego stormtroopers on ebay a while back, they seem so expensive for something so small!

When the parts arrive.

Got the droplinks, waiting on spacers. Then its when my boyfriend's brother is free to do them.

Not risking doing it without the above parts.

Nope, when we did the front coilover, we were about the put the wheel on but the actual tyre was too close to the coilover, only a few mm's clearance. And its not worth risking the rubbing of it.

My Boyfriends brother was telling me how the same thing happened on his m3, too close and rubbed away so much of the tyre/

I wanted spacers anyway, so its better to be safe than sorry!
