Haha, all I'm going to say is that it will look very slightly different to any other bumper. Also I can't take pics of any of the new things I have got to go on the car as I broke my iPhone. Will be getting new one this Wednesday hopefully so next weekend there maybe a mass influx of pictures :) only maybe thou lol

I will also get pics of the inside once I have cleaned it out lol (very lazy over winter months as its to cold outside to sit and clean the interior haha)

Nice work, glad you went for a Seat bumper instead of some ugly after market part.
My FR is in black so it's been nice seeing the front end work on yours.

The bumper will be on within the next month or two, depending on how easy it is to get the old one off and install the fogs and then install the new bumper. Then there is going to be a very unique change to the look of the car. I am aiming to get the car lowered, new bumper, fogs, wheel refurb and a bit of vinyl wrapping all done before 25/03/2012 as that is when the car will be at fast show on my local clubs stand. Anyone else going to fast show??.

Hi mate!

If you don't mind me asking..

Who did you get your tints done by? Are they limo black? Did you also get your fronts tinted lightly to?

What shade of lamin-x did you use for the rear lights?

Nah ask all the questions you want mate, I don't mind lol.

The rear tints were done by a bloke on mildenhall industrial estate. DZ something I think. Was £130 or £150, can't remember now, for the darkest tint and a sun strip in the same tint, I haven't got the fronts done but have been thinking about it.

The lamin-x was also the darkest one, my rear lights are standard ATM because some little kid decided he wanted to pull the tint off  was to happy at all lol. Will be getting some more soon though lol.

Does anyone know if it would be ok to put the lamin-x dark smoke tint on headlights? I have seen people do it to fogs so can't see why not but was just wondering. Thanks

UPDATE: fog light kit arrived today, bit annoyed though because you need to take the glove box out, radio out, steering wheel of and instrument panel off :( will phone around to see how much people will charge to fit it and will then decide if I want it done yet or not lol

Thanks mate. Lamin x should be fine on the front lights. There's many pictures of it on the website. I prefer the subtle tint my self.

Why not attempt the fogs yourself?

Told you I should of had the bumper ;)

Would of been so easy for me, straight swap :p

As for the lamin-x, go with subtle tint so you dont risk getting pulled over.

I would rather pay someone to install the fogs properly, was meant to give the two local seat garages a call today but completely forgot until now lol. The bumper looks better in black them it would in white haha. I will probably get the subtle tint for the head lights, either yellow or dark smoke for the front fogs and will replace the rear light tint.

Nah, don't see many black frs so why bother ;)

Id go darker for the fogs, yellow will stand out too much.
You getting seat to do the fogs? Hope they dont charge too much for that!

Black cars are so much better than white lol.
I have been leaning more towards getting the dark tint for the fogs but I do like the look of yellow lol.
Well I will see how much they charge first then I will decide if I will have a go myself or not. I have two weeks off in march hopefully be able to do it then, I have decided that I will install the new bumper when everything on it is finished and then when I'm ready I will either get the fogs installed or do it myself. Does anyone know how the bumper comes off?

Just had some rather annoying and bad news about the fog light kit I have ordered. I contacted my local dealer today to ask how much it would be to fit the kit to my car. There answer was that the part number I gave them isn't a uk part number which means that they are not able to fit them because they are not suitable for the uk road :( the only reason I went ahead and ordered them is because when I contacted the company they said that they were ok for uk roads. I have contacted the company again to ask them where I stand and if I can get a full refund. I am also wondering if it would be possible to get the bits for the fog lights off of a car that is being used for parts. This has really annoyed me and I'm trying to find out from all different places if there is anything I can do to get fog lights fitted. If the worst comes to the worst then I will just get the kit sent back, get a full refund and just blank the wholes in the grills on the new fr bumper I have ready to fit. :(
