Yeh I know that's best route to go live mapping..
But why can't they base stage 2 on a car that has all the needed items for stage 2..
Decat,pipe,filter etc..
Surely if you then took a car to be stage 1 with a different pipe it's not going to be right for stage 1 map then?

You can't live map your car

Ok little update..
Had the guy back who mapped it ..
Told him I wanted a standard map put back on it.
And to my surprise it's now running 211bhp,
Bit shocked as it was running 245ish before..
So it would appear that it already had been mapped..
He then put a map that he knew was ok,told he got it from his supplier/bloke he knew.
Now the cars not spiking at all, just holding a steady 16.5psi.
Bhp is now 253bhp..

Does this seem correct for a car that has decat, stainless pipe,k+n,forge tip, bov???

I did think the power was good at 245 with just the mods listed..

Sum it up,revo looked at the car in the first place, ready for stage 2 (told it had a stage 1 map by them)
The car did but was demo software, that had run out..
And had been remapped by someone else..

have to see fuel logs as well as boost but sounds like a safe map generic stage 1 map

Can't give any fuel logs I'm afraid..
Can anyone tell me what the lambada sensor should be showing at WOT?
Be it imperial or metric..
Just to check I'm not running lean..

How do you know the power?
Dyno'd or something else? (if only liqui, take the numbers with a large pinch of salt)

under boost you should be in the 12's/0.8x region

Thanks for that.

What sort of power do you think you can get out of it if I come and see you??
Edit; do you think that's about right with the mods fitted?

I disagree with Sam to certain extent , not all mobile tuners just crank up boost , for instance my first cupra was mapped by Jason from morebhp.com he logged the car before on a private road to check all was well , found a spilt vacuum pipe and sorted then mapped it took it on private road again to check fueling was spot on which it was was running high 11s , well 11.9 on on wot which isn't too bad and made 213 bhp on r tech rollers a week later with stock hardware running 18 psi peak.
what mods did you have on your LC to get 213bhp?

to be honest was only running air filter and catback at the time of map no others mod but the turbo was only 10k old don't no if that was significant but it went like stink , i no the airflow reading were 174 g/s when jason mapped it but at the time i had no idea what he was going on about lol which would equate to abouut 217 bhp from airflow readings but i'm told generally airflow reading would be slightly higher on the road than on a dyno at least thats what r tech said

Got 203gs at full throttle..
And is running 14's the AFR gauge..on full boost.

Ewwww.
thats not good or safe fueling to have under boost.

whose map is that?
(I call them pikey maps when I see them do this)

203g/s is good airflow.. but your fueling being so lean will cause very high egts
~253bhp worth of airflow, BUT, your egts are not right.

Also got error code 16804 fault code up the other day..

It's a map off same bloke I've posted a link to the website..
Have noticed its a bit jerky at low throttle too..
What EGT should I get?
And do you think it's a map for a car with a cat??

Cheers
