Ok I'm confused..remapped..Liquid gauge..boost..

I disagree with Sam to certain extent , not all mobile tuners just crank up boost , for instance my first cupra was mapped by Jason from morebhp.com he logged the car before on a private road to check all was well , found a spilt vacuum pipe and sorted then mapped it took it on private road again to check fueling was spot on which it was was running high 11s , well 11.9 on on wot which isn't too bad and made 213 bhp on r tech rollers a week later with stock hardware running 18 psi peak.

Lee had big trouble with his map, boost problems and fueling. He has a a thread about his map. Mobile maps is a risk. Lee had his revo map done at badger 5.

This guy is independent he doesn't work for anyone else.

Mobile mappers share poor maps, thats why i said yours was borrowed. Lees graph is a lc. Proper tuners make there own maps or use maps made by revo or custom code trusted maps.

No it's an LC 180 but better than a standard 225 R

I'm going to have it looked into and get the standard map put back on if all is not well.
If there's a problem I will post back.
Just spoke to a revo dealer and they said the same.
It shouldn't spike as much as it does..not to mension the fact that the power is almost the same..
From what I've seen the liquid gauge is accurate as to bhp.
Im no stranger to turbo cars and thought something was a miss..
But you know what it's like,I've read the forums and there seems to be a few problems relating to boost pressure.
Just need to make sure it's not the car and IS the map.

A car needs to be mapped on a rolling road if you go stage 2.
Stage 1 is a simple plug in the obd port and upload the file.

On stage 2 how do they get the fuelling right?
When mine was done it was logged and the map adjusted, ask them how they do it.

Badger 5 is close to you, go and see him, i did and i live in Torquay.

Hazard a guess they have done research and rolling roaded a car that has all the requirements needed for a stage 2,and base that on your car.
I know what your saying as one map for 1 might be ok and another car might be and probably won't be the same due to state of engine etc..

Revo dealers don't RR cars for stage 2 though.

Stage 1 is a pre set map for a standard car.
Bill is a revo dealer and RR the car hence why i went to him.

But why can't they base stage 2 on a car that has all the needed items for stage 2..
Decat,pipe,filter etc..
Surely if you then took a car to be stage 1 with a different pipe it's not going to be right for stage 1 map then?

If you have it all then it will be ok, i'm sure they will check it afterwards anyway.
I never had a fmic so the map was toned down until i do.

Exhaust will make a bit of difference, not much tbh.
