Same question again, does anyone have any idea how much these are worth, approximately? (Borbet's, great condition, no tyres, 17", 7.5J).
Thanks! :)
P.S. I would look on eBay, and compare prices, but I can't seem to find any like these.

Easily £300?

nope they have a lower offset than standard so will be fine in that respect. Imo 18's are too big though, s already mentioned you will need a 30/35 profile tyre, they will make it uncomfortable etc etc they are a good looking wheel though, you are right!

16/17's are best on the mk4, at first i wanted my wheels made in 16's but went for 17's in the end as i already had a set of new tyres lined up in the garage. Got them sitting class though so no regrets!

It's for sale again at the mo, for a mere 5k. I did consider back when i bought my cupra standard but read his thread, seemed plagued with problems, then he fixed them and sold it shortly after, to which it was sold again, then again.....

Just needs someone who is willing to spend some cash on it, take that choccy turbo off and fit some rods haha

It always for sale, this is the 2nd time this year that i've seen.

It's just not set up right, as you said need uprated rods. Stunning car though, could be even better if someone with the right knowledge and expertise got hold of it. I've been tempted by it but put off with problems and the fact it would like triple the insurance for me to declare all those mods hah would have to be put on racing/motorsport insurance!
