Help please?!? I've bin able to open the boot just by pullin the catch from the inside but the unlocking motor just isnt enganing at all any more, could this have anything to do with the new lights as they all come off the same power supply?!

No photos as yet sorry, but I have tried one in the car briefly before removing due to quick flashing. From what i saw it was very good, so am just awaiting the resistors. Looks tem times better than standard bulbs, very bright and orange. Will report back when the resistors are fitted......

cheers but....

I really would know I bought some resistors for my old indicator bulbs but never wired them up. I want to get the smd bulbs with built in load resistors

The indicators need the right current to determine how quickly they flicker don't they?? so you know when a bulb is out? So this doesnt mean that ill actually need resistors for my sidelights?

Yes the only reason the bulb will flash quicker is because the LED does not draw as much as a normal bulb. so it thinks the bulb your using (LED) has blown / not working. The sidelight might be ok but may be dim if a resistor is not in place.

hmmmmm had a look at the advert again and it says these have a built in resistor to avoid dash warnings.... but they still only run at 12v! hmmmm... I think I'll risk it for now, it's not like it ever goes dark this time of year any way! :)

Well I used some gunsmoke lamin-x on the bottoms of the LED tail lights and tbh, they're nowhere near as dark as I'd hoped!
