Very nice motor, but I'm sure it's only going to get better if your Leon was anything to go by.I'm looki g forward to seeing the progress on it.

Really liking the BMW styling...lot of people don't...

I've got mr mr2 for rwd and the Ibiza but the mr2 is going and I'm looking at a 330 or 335 saloon...

Mrs says I need something grown up :)

Plans sound great too mate, the white one looks fantastic

I recommend the 335 personally, if it's tunability you're after and if you don;t want it to feel too sluggish compared to a Stage 2 tuned k03s MK3. I'd have been happy with a 325i honestly but I always wanted the option to tune :). There are two 330's, a 258bhp and a 272bhp (or something similar), the latter is faster of course.

Watch this space for progress :).

Well done jamjay, it looks super clean! Look forward to future updates. The White one looks stunning!

Are you in touch with the new owner of the Leon. How is he finding it?

It has begun ;). This is a COBB Tuning Access Port, it's a remapping, diagnostic and data logging tool for the N54 BMW engine. It flashes maps onto your ECU via the OBD II port and comes preloaded with three main maps: Stage 1 (Stock), Stage 2 - DP's & Air Filter, Stage 2+ - previous + FMIC, within these three maps are two options, linear or aggressive power delivery, it's up to you to choose which one. Stage 2 and Stage 2+ maps are customisable so yiu are able to take it to a dyno and tweak your settings. The beauty of this is that before it uploads the map onto your car, it remove your stock map and stores it on the device, you can then reflash to stock any time you wish or in my case, for warranty work should there be any. Additionally, when you install new parts onto the car you can then just reflash with the COBB yo another map so there's no need to pay for another remap. Updates are constantly relased for this and are always free, they will include support for further modifications such as meth & uprated TC's but also new features. Cost is the same as your standard REVO, money well spent and will be arriving in the New Year.

Approx power increase at Stage 1 is 30% BHP & 38% torque meaning around a 80bhp increase and 90lb/ft realistically.

Awww that's sounds pretty damn good!

Bit on the bridge is cool :)

Crazy loud but I kind of like the super car tone :).

Nice car!

My younger brother has a white 335i, pushing out 400+ bhp and 480lb/ft of torque, check out his post here:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497776

He's running a huge FMIC, aftermarket exhaust, BMW Performance steering wheel, aftermarket rims (original BMW ones cracked) and a few other things too [B)]

Ohhhh, idnan :). I have read his post on there and his car looks great and mods wise is where I want to be with mine. I believe he is JB4 where as I am going COBB for the ease switching maps when the car needs to go back to BMW for work, it'll be interesting to see comparisons between the two as the Stage 2/Stage 2+ maps are pretty new, the only comparisons on YouTube seem to be JB4 map 2 vs COBB Stage 1 which isn't a fair fight boost wise.
