Well I can finally reveal all after the new car finally arrived today. The issues with these engines just had me too worried so I part exed the bocanegra and got full settlement at £12.5K (lucky me). I can honestly say I LOVED the boc and was surely sad to see it being driven away today BUT this is what I have replaced her with and OMG am I happy with it and do I have some tasty plans for her too. I will Naturally still be here to offer advice to new owners and keep in contact with all the other folk I know and have met (feel like my friends tbh). So here she is!!! MK2 Leon Cupra in Grey with BTCC kit and xenons!!! Will get decent pics on the week-end after she's been cleaned.

Sorry to hear it as well :(

But damn I am also partially jealous!

I too worry already about when I'm going to start suffering trouble with my own Boc and I'm only half a year into ownership!! :S Such a loveable car though!

What is first on your mind for the new leon then, JC?

Good choice JC, lovely car.

I was in Hatfield Seat today trying to do the same kinda thing as you, just don't trust the Boc. Seems like I will have to hang onto it for a bit longer to make it work for me, only had it 8 months and I would lose too much money.

How much did you pay for the new car if you don't mind me asking?

11K mate and fortunate enough to get the outstanding finance on the boc settled so walked out ok in the end.

Whats the plans mate. I know what i would be doing with a TFSI and Mk5 chassis this time around, since i spent thousands last time buying mods, then changing them etc.

Theres a few select mods that make a huge huge difference to these cars. and its not all power power power, although that is a nice by product lol

Yeah that's true Char. She is filthy at the minute as I am sure the salesman that brought me car drove behind a damn oil tanker as there is oil all over the front of the damn car [:@] so that's my Saturday job sorted for me LOL.

Standard i dont think they have much grunt at all tbh, not compared to the stage 2 1.4TSI anyway, that said the TFSI gives big torque which is great once rolling, but the little 1.4TSI is much more responsive and quicker to come on boost etc.

I had a run against one on the carriage way back along and was having to lift off alot. Once you map the cupra though, theres no comparison once rolling as you would muller us.

Stats say it all
stage 2 1.4 =215hp/1150kg= 186Hp/tonne with no lag.
std cupra 2.0T 240hp/1400kg= 171Hp/ton with more lag but without the DSG.

stage 2 cupra 330Hp/1400kg = bye bye ibiza & fabia :funk: 235hp/ton :funk:

Only joking mate, make sure you pop in and see us :D
