Not updated this in ages! lol

In the last 2 weeks, I've taken the adjusters out of the rear to get it lower;
Taken my helper springs out at the front and cut bumstops down, is now nearly an inch lower :D ;
Rolled my front arches as they started scrubbing badly;
Ghetto drilled my airbox;
Spruced up the interior, repolished centre console and trim;
Polished my centre caps with chrome BBS badges;
New/bigger door speakers from a mk5;
Got a boot sub build on the go, nearly done now, all wired up, just needs finishing touches;
And finally, detailed her again!

Pictures to come! :)

You should have said you were doing a boot-build.... I've got a bloody-good twin-12" box, made from 18mm MDF sat in my garage doing nothing ;)

lol, mine's custom though, virtually cost me sweet f-all and doesn't use up any boot space ;) :D

What you doin about the rear arches rubbing ?

Nothing, just don't have a large gay scottish man and a ginger sitting in the rear haha

Told you take out rear adjuster ring, did you leave in the platform though?

It used to be ok with loads of crap in the boot but I took it all out and it was as high as Afroman. Platform stayed in, don't trust it without lol. Pics below :)

Looks tidy for a Bora :p

:happy:

Update time, I'll let most of the pics do the talking:

R-Raking like a bitch! And burnt some more paint from the arch that got painted earlier this year :/ lol

Then got back and decided I need to go lower at the front, so one night I dropped my coilovers and got the bump stops out

DSCF4513.jpg

Then after a drive it was scraping badly, thought it was my ARB. So next morning I rooted around, and found that the adjuster ring on coilovers was rubbing on the rear lip of the wheel!
Sooooo:

helper spring was taken out and wound down, still have another inch of thread to go down!

Quick pic of how it sat after

Then washed and lowered my mates civic :love:

Next, my door speakers were blown, so bought some MkV door speakers cheap. Were a lot bigger than the originals but I got them to fit!

Then started on the boot build, will get pictures of the pretty much finished product later on!

Anyway, since lowering, was scraping at the front quite badly, here's what happened (along with bits of tyre missing)

Ended up like
DSCF4540.jpg

Not bad, no ripples or cracks, even though I used a hairdryer, old chalk mallet, a piece of 3x2 wrapped in ducktape and blue detailing tape to protect the paint

Then after finishing mine, my mate bought his Bora round

So we fitted his coilys, adapters and wheels. Then went for a little shoot, results

Woah! Looking really good Arun! Haven't updated in a while, loving it. Are you happy with these Tiki products then? Might give them a go, and get on with my car for that matter!

Christ almighty.

Don't know how you drive that Arun, I wouldn't even be able to get off my driveway that low, nevermind what troubles I might encounter elsewhere!

Looks bloody good though. Please look after your sump though... it's got to be pretty damn close to the floor now!

Looks class mate.. And your getting some competition now.. Although.. It will never be like yours ;) (major Asslicking)

His looks good too, the wheels do suit the car. After a decent detail, it should look awesome..

Has the noise from the airbox improved? or does it sound even more like a tracktor? Because youve certainly drilled your airbox lmfao, theres nothing left :)

Tell me about it, he's getting 8.5/9 wide drifts on the rear, gonna look so sweet! Makes me want to go jap :blink:

how much lower do you think you can go arun?

You can never be low enough Phillip!

Looks sweet! How on earth could you get it lower?!

Still have 1" to go down on the front with the helpers out, but doubt I will go much more............till I get bored :p
rears, I just have to stick some heavy stuff in the boot lol

Some of their stuff is wel worth getting. I love the wax! Takes the piss to apply by hand, and then buff off, but the shine is unreal :)

lmao, cheers dude. It's ok to drive, used to dodging potholes and slowing for speed bumps now. And the sound of metal scraping is not as hair raising as it used to be :happy:

My sump should be fine now though, engines been raised 25mm. Here's a pic I just got, you can see where most of the damage is lol

Haha, was hilarious when his girlfriend came over to see it when it was done, and ended up spending most of her time looking at mine and telling him mine was 'cooler and shinier', his face was a picture! :cartman:

Mate it sounds 10x beefier! Love revving it compared to before lol
