That's what I was thinking.... If you over drop it it'll not only dig the front end in, but probably naff up the handling (more than spacers will)

Shame there's no easy wide track option

if you could shut up that gap, and get the wheels to fit properly, i would so do that
hows about a much lower offset ?

I don't mean to be a hater but I don't think your going to be able to get it to work you'll need some massive spacers like 100+ mm or more to make it look how I would like it to look to make all the work worth it, and let me tell you, your wheel bearing won't last 2 seconds, I don't mean to be a stick in the mud but you need to be thinking about the mechanical side of things, once you have spaced it have you thought about the extra leverage on the coilovers or suspension your running? it will effectively give you a soft ride!

Fair play for having a go at this I just think if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing properly, if you ran 100+ mm spacers like I think you'll need I would give the wheel bearing 2 weeks before they parted company with your hub! Not only that it's dangerous!

What spacers are you running?

I certainly would not want to chuck it about spaced to that extent like I chuck mine about!

Spacers in my mind are a stance and show thing, if you look at the kind of work that goes into BTCC and race cars to widen the track its a bit more than spacers, it's done with longer wishbones and engineered hub carriers that position the hub out further pretty much everything is custom, and not a spacer in sight, why? Because the loadings on the bearing would cause failure! And it's not proper! Sorry I can't see this working, prove me wrong!

To start off with i dont "chuck" my car about and im fitting 25mm spacers not 100! and it not a tack car its my weekend car purely for straight line speed and the looks, if i wanted a car to chuck about i would have got a clio 182!

25mm spacers?? Will you not need wider than that?

Firstly don't take it the wrong way, your on a forum and your going to get positive and negative comments that's what it's about, I just don't see the point in wider arches without filling them out properly, seems silly.

I'm not taking the piss mate just raising my opinion, whether you listen or care I'm not fussed! :) no offence meant by any of it dude!

i measured the gap from the wing to the wheel and its 45mm so i still will have a 20mm gap after spacing but i can live with that
