looks really nice craig, like it! mines coming on slowly and the white transformation is slow but sure!! just trying to make it look abit different from the norm but not to drastic.

Well driving home from work tonight the heat-shield above the cat decided it didnt want to be attached to the car anymore. So I removed it tonight. Hopefully I dont need it on the car.

But while I was removing it I had 2 random lads driving alone my street stop and ask if the Ibiza was for sale, must be doing something right with it!!

Nah had just rusted away around the holes etc with age. And it must of just dropped hitting a bump on the road driving home from work.
The Mk2 passed its re-test today!!

Got the brake pipe replaced today so it now has its green certificate for the next year!!
Car is into the bodyshop on Monday (22nd) for one or two things then after that I dont know what the next step is going to be.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Some of you may have saw a thread in the mk2 section regarding the interior mirror so here are some pictures to explain why.
Im very happy with how it has turned out.. The corners arent 100% perfect but for a first attempt of using the vinyl stuff it isnt bad.

Well that is my car now in the bodyshop now for the next week to get the rear driver arch fixed before the rust gets any worse. It has 'just' started to spread around onto the panel of the car, there is only about 1-2mm of creep up the side but want to tackle it before it gets worse. Im also getting my roof done with mirror covers to match (hopefully!). I am so excited for getting the car back!! ![[B)]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/shades.gif "Cool [B)]")

Also I finally got my single wiper issue fixed and I am really happy with it now, I can add another little modification to it now that it is fixed.

After browsing on ebay I found my next little modification. And it will maybe give me some motivation to get working on the engine bay.
I know there will probably be alot of haters about it because I dont have a 20vt or TDi engine in my car or any Forge products relating to the engine but I liked the cap so thats all that matters. Plus I got it for a very decent price.

Update time!!! .
Tonight I got my car back from the bodyshop and I am over the moon with how it has turned out .
. The roof has turned out much much better than I ever expected it too .
Heres a quick teaser pic.
And it isnt the colour that it looks in those pics.
More pics will follow after the car has had a proper wash etc.
Really happy with the job that has been done on the mirror covers and rear drivers side arch aswell. Had that whole panel done and it is such a close match to the original paint.
Cant wait to get the car cleaned (inside and out) and get some new pictures up.
Im finally getting close to the stage where I am 100% happy with it.
