Cheers - that's exactly what these cars are all about :)

Dale's Corsa is a weapon, over at Badger 5 last week it made 303 BHP and 301 lb/ft on just 18.5 PSI. Absolutely savage to drive and lots of fun

We got a few drive by videos after the shoot which I'll try and get uploaded too

Good point - I was planning on just going as a spectator but could bring mine along if I can find a stand to gatecrash. You taking yours Phil?

Cheers Phil - though decided I'm going to just spectate at this one. There's a few little things I'd like to tidy up before putting her back on show which I'll sort with Dale over the next few weeks once I've dropped it back over to Badger5 for the map tweaks :)

Well with the washout of a weekend we had I decided against Combe altogether in the end as I didn't fancy getting soaked through, though did make it up to Ace Cafe on Sat night instead where there were some interesting toys, including a 600 BHP RX7. Madness

Me too.

Fancy a track day at Pembrey robbie? 7th August, £75 half day or £130 full day. Lovely circuit, small but fun.

Tempting :)

All depends when I can get booked into Bill's to get my map tweaked and possibly a new AEM WMI kit running as well - which reminds me, I need to call him today.

I'll keep you posted Phil, if the car is ready then count me in.

It was the UK Street Car meet - quite a mix of cars but worth a look.

My car was small fry compared to a lot there, I was parked just down from the entrance.

I know a few guys from London I sometimes catch up with. Eyes and ears everywhere Joe ;)

Little update for Rob.

Over the weekend Rob left his baby with me once again [B)] As it was time to drop the mineral oil and gets some "real" oil in the engine :)

Oil used was....

Hey all - been a while since I last even logged on here where I've been so busy lately.

I started a new job back in June which has been a bit of a game changer for me ever since, with frequent travel abroad and company car allowance which has inevitably taken some focus away from the Cupra.

Meet Vera :)

She's a 318d M Sport with a few extra toys and I never anticipated just how much I'd appreciate the extra status and comfort that it offers above and beyond the Cupra. 4 weeks old and I've already put 3,000 miles on the clock!

I'd wanted something offering a bit more maturity for a while and for me this offers the best of both worlds now, where I've still got the Cupra sat in the garage as a dedicated weekend/track toy when the mood takes me.

I'm still yet to call Bill for mapping lol but with over 500 miles now on the clock she's pretty much all set to go. With the boost wound out to ~21 PSI now she runs much better than before but is still on the rich side so hopefully a little tweaking here and there will have her running at peak performance ready to be abused on track
