Engine is starting to look better, polished the turbo pipe today, going to do the inlet when I have time prob thursday maybe.

Still having the problem with the bypass :(

So today i put new silicon on bypass but still no change, apart from quiet dv and the car as went in limp mode then off again :( Really confused with it

Problem is

Loud induction noise

power reduced

boost gauge still reading 20psi when car is no where near pulling that good.

Have you checked the actuator rod?

13 visible threads from end of red to top of adjustable nut?

You still running K03 Standard Turbo?

Mine only boosts to 13PSI! (This is after i adjusted my Actuator rod back to 13 threads as a previous owner had it wound up to 18-19 threads!)

Still ko3 at the moment. Not checked actuator, problem has been since rocker came off few weeks ago and last week it got redone to retrace my tracks and still crap. Still loud induction noise rather slow but boost gauge is still saying 20psi. Put new silicon on bypass and it's still the same. And it's been vag com'd that said it was vac or boost, boost pipes have Been checked

Why dont you just bypass the n249? eliminates the problem then.. Are you sure you connected all the charge pipes nice and tight.. Id boost leak check it aswell.
I dont think the actuator would be the problem as you havent touched it..
the only things you would of disconnected removing the rocker cover is n249, chargepipe, and coils

Could be a duff coilpack..
