the other thing that jbs are amazing for and probably the only way they keep customers is buy practacily locking your ecu down so if another tuner trys to acces it they can but your ecu software number and everything is changed to jbs dpf off rather than the 095647 76455 5536 that it should containe so you no wat version of ecu software u hav on ther to begin maping

Kilner you can't say "everyones" jbs stage 2 map is shite. Your ***** map made less on the same rollers as it did with the mild version of the jbs map lol..... Some are happy with cc's map. It's Jst a shame you never got the wild one

btw runing teh car in 3rd gear is no good at all as it wont be on full boost jbs dyno ther cars in 5th and ther is a lot of speak from tuners about the ecu in these things u need to go and hav it done in 5th gear aparantly the ecu cuts fueling in any other lower gear than 5th

so that why wen all us pd170 people hav our dynos done were making from 201 to 204 but neva more but every one has run in 4th gear apart from at jbs who run in 5th

next tiem i get on teh dyno ill ask for a 4th and 5th comparison

also one of the fastest dervs at gti internationals the skoda octavia only made 204 bhp on the dyno but yet the times showed it was more than 204 bhp

i dont no why but this car just dosent work on the dyno

it made the same with less boost i now had fueling alterd and boost uped and all im saying is its a faster car than it eva was and it wasent the same rollers scooby clininc dyno dynamix 201bhp jbs @ over 1.6bar of boost vcds max is 2601 so its boost at 1601 but vcds caps at 2601 so the jbs was boosting more than that with no fuel no black smoke no nothing so imo it was a lean map why such high boost and not so much fuel ?

**** version 1 made 201bhp rs tuning rollers with only 1.5bar of boost this new map is allot beter boosting at 24psi around 1.64bar

and your all sticking up for jbs yet you havent done any test to see wat ur cars are boosting at or anything so realy u dont no wat ur car is doing they could of set the boost to 1.74bar for all you no the stock turbo will hold this but for how long who i duno on other forums people hav posted they run 1.74 bar on stock for 40k milles no problem others said ther turbo went pop at 1.7bar

each to ther own i hav said many times any 1 is free to come and compare ther map with mine im not saying mine is the best as aparantly i hav only had the new jbs map and that is or we think a waterd down map i need to hav a go in sum1 car with this so called wild map that is no longer avalible be4 i can comment


im not saying every ones jbs is crap but the recent jbs map will be **** as james hass fallen out with the guy that used to make the nice maps be4

and ther isent that many around so u hav to go on all difrent forums just to find some info

so after all is done and said u may hav a good map now but if u go for it tweeking whos to say they aint just guna put a 2011 special on it like i had wen they say thers only 1 stage 2 map and thats coming from the mout of the mothers boy at jbs (JAMES)

Why wouldn't they keep the older map? I'm sure they'd have the choice as the company would own the code not the individual.

If they choose to put a different (more linear?) map on now I'm sure that's because it's better.

JBS were the only option when it came to removing my DPF. They were great then and this year when a pressure sensor went.

PD140 with the same level of tuning (Stage 2 map, Exhaust, Downpipe) isnt, A Mate of mine has got a Golf PD140 and its no where near mine

PD140 with all of that + Hybrid Turbo is a different kettle of fish, But then if you add a Hybrid to the PD170 mix then once again it would pull ahead

i was taking the piss lol trana say the cc map is only as gd as a stage 2 pd140 map

any way ill grow up now ill let people decide wat is best for them but i hav spent money and found out information im just not good at geting it down in writing dyslexic and a mental age of about 8 years lol

yes it dose if u dont belive ur not goin to get roudn a corner u will lift and go slower if you hav confidance u will make it you will keep it planted and be faster round the corner

its ok andy the custome code map is the best map in world avalible for teh pd170 it was made by people from another planet (ther only human thers probably some guy thats made his own map for the pd170 and that could be the best map eva but we havent hurd about it)


im only saying imo my new map is beter tha the jbs option

and as for peopel looking for a map for ther pd170 jbs wont giv you the old map and the new map isent as powerfull as the old one
