so I take it you are going to go widetrack 5x100 for front?
watch out, as it increases front track alot, so you will have to pick wheels wisely (are the Schmidt ML's 16x7.5 fronts and 9J rears?)

Car looks clean, a good mate Haris had a BBM one, on Compomotive Fuch Splits and Oz Splits, it was so amazing

Good luck with it :D

Im keeping it 4 stud mate i like the Schmidt's too much  yeah they are 9J at the rear i cant remember what the fronts are though

Oh ok, fair play, the ML's are nice.
You can get them in 5x100 too.

If the fronts are not 9J, then they'll be 7.5J then.

Look good eitherway :)

Haha great looking car at that :) Yeah it will, sort out the overheating problem? Yeah once i've made a bit of progress ill definitely start one. Cant blame you the car is mental. Have a water leak from the turbo, so im need to get a new gasket for that, do you know where i could get one from?
I'm sure you will be happy to know that the car keeps up with / beats 300+ mk1 focus rs and a 340 PPP scobby :) with the dodgy map.

Its the fans that dont work but im not spending anymore money on the engine as the vr is going in anyways so i need to avoid still traffic lol. It could be the banjo bolts at the turbo has anyone been in working behind the engine?

Thats awesome about beating them i always wondered how i would have done against my mates focus rs but he ended up selling it. Is it your mates focus that was down with you?

Aw i see, probably a good idea to avoid that then. Nope noticed that one of the exhaust mounts was hanging off so sorted that, and the turbo was missing two bolts. Noticed a slight oil leak and a water leak from the turbo at the time. Yeah it is, fair to say he got a shock haha

Not updated this in a while, got pretty much all the parts i need to do the conversion im just waiting on my hydraulic clutch conversion kit coming and im on the lookout for some 10" slimeline fans. Hoping to do the timing chains and clutch one night next week as the conversion is getting started next friday :D

Most of the conversion bits

I cant believe how much these BMC induction kits cost but im told they are the best for the vr6 engine so i just bit the bullet and went for one

Anyways next friday i should hopefully have some decent updates of an empty mk2 engine bay.

i take it you're not wide tracking the mk2 and converting to 5 stud?????

you'd be mad not to as it totally transforms the handling of the already well handling mk2 chassie. it also allows for easy upgrading of the front brakes as you just bolt the mk3 ones on
