I suppose the Mikalor might be alright. it was just a thought/experience with one of the clips that was on the oem pipes but they didnt stick up thes wer flush/curved with the clips so pinching them together to get it loose enough to get the pipe of was a biatch. if the external diamter of my 8mm vacuum pipe is 12mm should i get 12mm clips or 11mm be a tight bite?

If it's just for the small ones then just so long as you can approach them straight on it won't be an issue. The Mikalor ones look like the ones I have on the car as standard, I've managed with them fine. In fact, I might just order a bunch of those myself :)

EDIT - just saw your other post. Do the Mikalor ones give a range that they can do, like jubilees say (for example) 8mm - 12mm?

Shouldn't really use jubilees/mikalor clamps on the vacuum pipe as it is not reinforced and will cut into the material
Cable ties are very strong and do the job better than the spring clips will at a fraction of the cost

Mikalor is a serious over kill for them hoses.

When I was saying "Mikalor" clips I meant these ones that itfben found (note that's the brand name, not the type):
