Good effort mate, it's easier then it seem's isn't it. I was well confused myself to begin with, eventually you realise you just have to pull the whole PCV system out and use about 1-2 original pipes for it to re-route everything.

Car's looking tidy as ever

hi mate

were did you get the pcv valve from? in the piping under the inlet?

Hi mate,

As Wayne said if your doing the PCV removal you can reuse the OEM non return valve:

You'll need to block off one end though.

Quick update.

I finally got round to ordering my 3/4 size front plate. I got standard lettering no border and:

printed in the corner.

It's MOT day tomorrow :scary:, so I'll get round to fitting the plate once I get the all clear, fingers crossed.

Also finally got a T joiner for the cold air feed from the fog lights so I can get to work on this:

I did this last year, and the straight "T" is hard to fit in due to the angles by the second fog light and lack of space, have you moved your battery? i found a "Y" shape joiner is just right.

Cheers for the comments everyone.

Car passed its MOT:D, however when the mechanic was reversing the car of the MOT stand he's managed to scuff the front passenger side wheel in 3 places [:@]. Its not so bad as they were in need of a refurb anyways but thats not really the point.
He has offered to pay to get it sort though.:)

T piece is very light so I'm not bothered by the weight (probably lighter then the PCV system thats been removed)

I'm hoping not to run the cold air feed down the conventional route as I already have the DSG intake on that side. The T should be fine for the route I'm thinking of, I'll post pics when I get it sorted.

I've fitted the new plate today.

Cars going on the rollers next weekend so hopefully I'll have some good figures to post up. Also managed to get my hands on a SLR so should be able to get some good pics.
