just a bit of an update:
i bought some of these bulbs and i must say im impressed with the dipped bulbs
that said, i dont think they give out as much light as the standard yellow ones but they certanly look alot cleaner and its a very white light. looks alot better than standard

also sadly i cannot say the same about the sidelight bulbs. i think they are pretty poor, its just looks like a blue dome with a white line inside when they are lit, hardly give off any light at all, but i suppose a good point it is white light that they put out so it matches the dipped beam.
il use them for now but i think they would look better with brighter bulbs or even LEDs

anyways since i do like the dipped bulbs im going to order some fog bulbs too :)

thanks for the info ;0

Having fitted mine too at the weekend I would have to agree with you on the first statement, but regarding the sidelight bulbs I would have to say that they are not used to give off light and to help with visibility but to help with being seen as such at dusk/dawn.

Just ordered a set of these, hope they are as good as you guys say!

I've often found the bulbs with the silver end seem to loose the silver paint, it flakes off and buggers up the pattern!

Lets see how we go!

FYI I have ultra h7 and ultra sidelights
I had my headlamps adjusted today as I thought the beam looked wrong in the fog...
They told me the sidelights are ilegal and the dipped bulbs don't put out enough light and an incorrect patten and recommends putting originals back

So in a nutshell he says the bulbs are ilegal
Don't shoot the messenger here I'm just repeating what I was told by the MOT tester at the seat dealer.

At my service last year, I got told my sidelights were illegal. I told the guy at SEAT however, they are all e-marked. He said that also the ultras were reflecting onto the dipped beams and creating a blue light.

He said not to worry though as it is unlikely I would get pulled over for it.

If you have Ultra 'faint blue glow' side light bulbs in your Ibiza pull them out and put them in the bin then replace them with some Philips Blue Vision Ultras, fully road legal, nice bright white light job done. Led's don't work, even canbus ones error, unless you just run one per light, which looks really ****.

If anyone needs proof I can supply comparison pics, stock v Ultra v Philips v led.
