FAQ : Anyone Wanting White Lights

Any idea if these bulbs will fit a mk1 anyone?

check your manual or something all the codes for the bulbs are there i.e h7, h4, hb4 etc etc

only question i have is, whats the visability like?
had white bulbs before and the visability was poor.

Visibility is pretty poor with the headlights i have to admit.

I’m going to try some others in there i think maybe some Philips or Osram, they may be a bit less white but id prefer a little more visibility when it’s really dark.

Not too bothered about the fogs and sidelights they’re just for the look

i find the visability is fine with these bulbs? infact i'd compare them to the likes of osram night breakers i had previously

i found a big step down from the standard bulbs, but they were yellow (yuk)

ive ordered some osram nightbreaker plus bulbs now ill have to do a comparison

OSRAMs will be more yellow and produce around the same light output (I had them before)

I woudn't say they are really yellow ozzy not as bad as the originals anyway lol, so don't worry about it to much. For me they haven't overly improved my lights but i think i've got dodgy lights anyway which i'll get checked at my service next month.

Its just these ultras' i have put in only seem to shine about 10-15 foot in front of the car, like a photo i seem to remember you posting

Now either they're rubbish bulbs or installed wrong or something i dont know. I will find out

Installed upside down I bet

I did the same with my HIDs...no instructions on which way round, till you realise your output is crap

Char you might want to check that. It makes a massive difference

Lmao thats what i changed a while ago actually!

Improved it quite a bit, strange how much of a difference it made though. Had never heard of it before since someone else on here mentioned it.

Changed all mine today apart from the inner side lights because there still in the post used that german video from Youtube to take off my bumper i couldent belive how easy it was i cant comment on the visibility yet as its not dark enough to need them but at least i know they look ace!!!

Aw poor cupra, i always think it looks sad when the bumper comes off.

Love that colour though. I really want a cupra bumper on my car...

The orange is a great colour i dont know why they stopped making it . Yeh it does look sad but its all back on and the lights were great lastnight and my second set of sidelights came today so ill be fitting them when i can be botherd to move
