Is it in limp mode, coil lights on/flashing or just the DPF light on? if only the DPF light on then you should follow the regeneration procedure as described in your manual.
lol he has no DPF, it is removed
Car going in for a service next week and will get the problem sorted. Got an e-mail from JBS!
Hi
We have had an update for the sensitive throttle and so called "hick up" for some time.
You are welcome to come and have the update flashed FOC.

James Silverstone
Performance Director
Has anybody else had this update on their cars?

btw to people with the bad stuter do u think u loose much 0-60 time with the stuter v having a more mild map with no stuter ?
To be honest I never get the stutter whilst accelerating hard. The only time i get the stutter is if i accelerate slowly up past 3k rpm and it hicks a little bit or when I was on a motorway for a little bit at a constant speed then accelerate it would hick a little bit then but that seems to be gone since the EGR gasket. Apart from that there i never get a stutter.
I had the MILD map and never had any stutter at all in any of the scenarios above.
I hardly ever accelerate slowly past 3k rpm any how as I usually change by then when driving normally.
I do notice that there is still constant pull all the way past the red line as well (which is impressive for a diesel) but i hardly ever do that either as it cannot be healthy.
Doh! Should read the thread fully eh lol! From what I've heard, the car attempting to do a regen when there is no DPF in place isn't good news - can cause damage to the engine. It could of course just be the ECU believing there is an issue with the sensor and not actually that the DPF is in need of regen, however I would have thought that would bring up the coil lights/eml too.
I Reckon its a sensor gone! Mines been running well over a year now without any faults at all, No sensors gone or anything
Ive never had one go!
IIRC BIGG had one go, think there a maximum of £100 notes
You can't compare like for like on different rollers, its bad enough on the same rollers in different conditions. Also are you suggesting the 220bhp tdi is quicker than the Astra VXR?
