I need to just get the section that goes from cat to the back box as it is all rusty. I have an original back box that was replaced two years ago for something stupid like £400 genuine. Dont see the need to replace it! I have just bought a scorpion de-cat, so will put that in the with the original system. Is there any company that sells just the link pipe from decat/cat to the back box that can be put in place. Or is it custom all the way?

thats subjective @ decat sounding better no matter what.
decat for some is an uncomfy noisy ride from within the car. (yeh i sound like a proper old fcuker)
kids will be coming in a few years. need to think about these things


i us just want the extra performance with minimum difference in noise. sure theres plenty in the same situation

Well i got my full milltek turbo back (no cat) for £400 so not bothered if it doesnt sound stupidly loud, the quality is great cant wait to get it fitted

Look at alternative systems I'd say. I think the miltek systems are great but well over priced in my opinion

I love mine but have to agree with this a bit. I paid mine upfront with a stage 2 map on the same day and it was well into 4 figures!!

There are plenty of alternatives as El has pointed out. Custom can be done alot cheaper with a tailored sound to suit if they know what they are doing.

I just got quoted by Infinity-Exhausts £480.00 inc VAT & fitting to have a Turbo back exhaust fitted to me FR 150 TDi.

I asked for turbo back (which I assume includes the downpipe?) with sports CAT, with no back box or silencer and a 6 x 4 oval tip. In 3" Stainless.

Sounds good to me?
