you can get a woven fibrglass weave called spectra iirc that looks like cf when laminated, just white

I managed to get the cover rubbed down and lacquired today

Next stage will be to polish out the imperfection's which there are quite a few and then it'll be ready to fit

I meet up with Tom today to do a bit on his bay and ended up taking loads of pictures.

Just been out and trial fitted the cover and it still fit's

It needs another rub down, theres a few small airbubble holes that need rubing out and as always I got a few run's in the lacquire

Finishes it off nicely mate. Any more probably would be OTT but not sure what else you could do in the bay. Could you not get some black silicone hose repair tape to wrap sround the red wire? just a thought.

I have got a bit heat wrap to go over that but not got round to it yet

It started out as an S3 cover but it had to be extended to fit properly, then it was wraped in Carbon Fibre.
