I had a go doing mine vinyl, difficult. Looks alright but rather have it sprayed eventually lol

I've kinda given up the boc front idea, I'm just not 100% sold on it yet lol the beauty of doing it in vinyl though is if it gets chipped you can do it again relatively cheaply without too much hassle.
I have another idea but not saying what it is just yet in case it doesn't work out. Watch this space

Has anyone any idea how to get the aerial off without damaging the roof? I saw a guy at the dealership take one off another car to put on my silver one and it looked pretty easy, just a quick dunt and it came off but by god I've tried and it won't come off the white one I've got a C2 stubby aerial here to go on it

Well now it seems that you have the link for your aerial lol. It is a bugger, i thought mine was going to break but it didn't.

i know people that have bocs won't like it, but we can't all afford them

I'm surprised mine didn't come off with me pulling on it but I didn't try wiggling itYou should get the chrome surround on your grille painted mate it'd look a hell of a lot better and match the boc front
Think you may have just gotten lucky on the aerial SC16V, I tried again today and it still wont come off, not even loose
Yeah and a very good one at that. Dunno what else to try
On the bright side my Cupra headlights are in and I can get my grille fitted at last
might be a week or so before they're fitted though but its progress
Did you hold the base, wiggle the aerial while pulling?

Yeah it does take some doing to "rob" the anti-theft aerial lol.

Yeah I was nearly swinging off it. Maybe it'll give up after a few attacks
The chrome stands out too much from the black. I think you'll change your mind once I get mine on and get pics up
