Is this the calculation used on the latest logs you did on k04-023 comp wheel?
asking as the k03 hybrids, which use a larger turbine and k04 comp wheel flow 227g/s max I have seen on 1.4bar boost
No, this is when i first installed the hybrid running on WG pressure (0.8-0.9bar) in a S3 maf case with Ibiza element, TT225 stock tip and an ecu map for stock k04-001

The fittment has some probs in my Ibiza (LHD), vacuum ports are too close to alternator and I had to grind them to 1/2.
Brake vacuum hose is too short as the stock inlet has the ports at its left and sem has it at its right, thankful I had some hose spare
Stock inlet has an iron mount beneath it which bolts to motor block and inlet, it also holds the harness of the tb,injector,cam position etc. this had to be pulled to the right because it was hitting runner #1 and the stock tb harness was too short to fit.
and finally because RCs need spacers to the fuel rail, the cam sensor harness was removed from the plastic rail as it couldn't reach the sensor.
forgot to say that you need to turn the oil dipstick tube 180degrees also

Car idles fine with the 70mm TB, i hope today to test the wot performance.

today I had my first test of the new setup, everything else is same as before ( even the bc settings ) except from the Sem and the 70 TB, the theoretical problems were that I forgot to do a TB alignment and reset the adaptation fuel values.

With 3,5° ambient temp, boost dropped down 0.10bar (1,5psi) but I saw in liquid cube 310hp @ 6500, CFs dropped to 0, I think that after 6500 car needs more timing as it feels like pulling back.

soon I will log with vag com for more precise comparison.

Car needed a bigger FMIC since 1.6bar (overboost) was the limit for heatsoak.
And it got it... Toyosports 23,6"x11,8"x3" (core)

with ambient temp 15c i was seeing 40c temp with this cooler i went down to 24c...

Now the problem is that the oil cooler cant get enough fresh air... a relocation is coming soon...

Another prob showed up... Low Speed Fan isnt working, tried a new fan controller but nothing changed,
so i am going to replace the fans... :(

I just fitted the same cooler glad too see it works well, I was seeing 40-50's with my old forge one
Ill be adding WMI aswell hopefully see less than ambient intake temps

Bumper is on, inside trimming and grille removal was necessary
I fitted a LCR splitter and i removed the fog lights (now the CAI has a cold feed...)

i logged the intake temps with bumper on, after a wot run with 3rd and 4th gear i saw max 30c with ambient temp 22c

The SEM clears the alternator if you fit a gasket spacer ;)

Car is looking great too.

BTW i do have a phenolic spacer, without it the installation would be a nightmare, i think the solution is 90degree vacuum fittings.

Today i bought the exhaust cam

Piper Ultimate Road


The coilpack harness has arrived, i am waiting for the INA adapters to move into MK6 coils.
