and thank you tom in helping me make my mind up was good to chat with you m8, im sure you will be back in love with your car. Also does anyone know how much the coilovers will compress when hitting bumps ect as my front wheels are flush with the wheel arch. What sort of clearance do i want?

thanks tom. i just want to no what they travel when hitting bumps and pot holes as i dont want my front wheels catching the arch.
Sam you fitting them your self ? If not why not there so easy to do shame you don't live near I will help , wind them to the bottom lol only way to do it then work your way up
i may do them with a friend if they are easy to do. have you got a guide or anything?
I haven't but jam Jay has on his rr , altho i didn't use it lol , there so easy coming from me who didn't have a clue

.hello all, not much to report atm just a few small updates.
last week i fitted a new door seal. yeaterday was a real test for the door as the rain was very heavy. i checked the door and the seal was bone dry result as its been leaking from when i bought the car.
yesterday i took a trip to oxford to swap my middle section of exhaust with terry(another scn member)
he had the resonated milltek exhaust and i have the non res. i was after something a little quieter while terry wanted a louder exhaust so it was the perfect swap. i already removed mine and went to terry's in my van. then it was a case of fitting it to terry's car. this went very smoothly and i had time to do other work on his car (can be found on his readers ride terry's readers ride).
today i got my resonated section fitted to the car and im over the moon with it. the combo of the resonated and decat is just awsome. on idle its just a 25% louder than standard, driving steady again its probably 25% louder than standard but give it the beans and its pure sex, i love it. when you hit boost the car turns into a jet sound, this was what i really wanted. i would say this exhaust would be too quiet with a cat but add a decat and its a real sporty exhaust but with a touch of class.
a few bits on there way to me, ap coilovers coming from germany. 034 motorsport coilpack cover coming from usa. new bbs center caps in black on its way and new hid effect bulbs for my fogs

Sounds like it was a good busy weekend mate, except for you burning your fingers ouch! Can't wait to hear what the beast sounds like now being it was very loud before, bet your neighbours will be pleased lol. That coilpack cover should be at my parents by tomorrow so I'll give you a bell next weekend when I get it .

With the decat do you swap back over for MOT time or does it pass all fine and dandy

Sounds like it was a good busy weekend mate, except for you burning your fingers ouch! the order for coilovers is the same m8, im not in a mad rush for them but when they arive i bet i will want them on in a run
i know a guy who does my MOT's so there not a problem yeah i hoping the car will look real nice once sitted down on the ch's.
