Is there a big difference in performance with FMIC?

yeah the fmic give great performance, mine pulled harder on the standard map. but the main reason is for cooling and it does a top job.

fantastic paint work, what do you use to polish it etc? I tend to use a lot of meguiars stuff and recently invested in a clay bar kit which has become my new best friend

after a busy weekend i got a few things done
re fitted the fmic and fitted the fog lights, getting the bumper back on was harder than i could remember. imho it looks so much better with the fogs fitted.


gave the bay a good clean and polish. also fitted the small engine panel i smoothed and sprayed gloss white. also sprayed the dipstick gloss black. last but not least i removed the spacer from under the oil cap. i have a few plans for the rocker cover but not telling yet




last thing was getting the new bonnet up to standard. so i clayed the bonnet, then cut it back with g3 cutting compound. then spent a age with super resin polish. after than i applied two coats of megs wax. overall im happy with the bonnet and at £50 i cant complain





so all in all a busy weekend but im pleased with the results, this time last week i was pretty upset about my bonnet but now its all forgotten about.

thanks for the comments guys.

well attack of ocd today. after fitting the fogs back on my car i knew the fogs were not sat happy, the pipe work from the intercooler was forcing against them. then it came to me on full boost the pipe work will really force the fogs so i went to halford and bought some mini fogs.
heres a few pics of one of the new fogs fitted, by the way the quality is spot on

i really recommend these lights and by the way i now have 35mm clearance between the pipe work and fog light. job done
