I do love the colour and it comes up really nice after a good wash. It wasnt my first choice but opted for it due to the great spec list that came with it and how loved it had been by its previous owner. Also the first LCR I fell in love with on here was Dolby's and thats silver. I'm just trying to do a few small things to help it stand out. Its desperate for an alloy wheel refurb. later in the year I think I'll get them done high power silver as they look awesome on Dolby's, maybes lowered with spacers.

Badger 5 3" TIP has been order today then its time to do some work on the bay.

Yeah same as me, silver wasn't my first choice either but as soon as I seen it I loved it! I always get complements after I clean it everyone loves the silver .

Fair play mate your car is def coming on very well. The wheel refurb is going to look great , and the badger 5 tip was a great choice as well. I ended up buying t0m's forge tip which is great but i think in the future i will have to upgrade as everyone loves the badger 5 tip. I haven't looked at Dolbys yet might go have a gander on his readers ride.

Good call on the 3" TIP and waiting, the hole you make will be completely custom as we all have our filters located slightly differently depending on how much we cut the TIP hose(s).

I got the Map pipe as I was already replacing the rest of the OEM IC system. This is the OEM pipe:

probably aids airflow but gains will more then likely be unnoticeable.

havent had time to measure up for the MAF hole on the heatshield yet and refit the cone filter as I'm off into town so this will be finished with a hangover tomorrow.

Once removing the SMIC and fitting th FMIC the only standard part left is the MAP pipe, so as the rest was being replaced I also decided to replace this.

Once fitted I went for a quick blast in the car. I was impressed:

Thats +5g/s over the Forge TIP and I've still not sorted the cold air feeds from the fog lights

The templates sorted for the heatshield now, just waiting on the metal sheet to turn up. I wont be posting pictures untill complete.
