Nope, first session you were in front and went off and after that I was going out in front of you and I never saw the rear end of your car just the front bumper getting smaller!

Twice you were right behind me coming out of the pit lane and I drove like a **** to overtake a few cars on the corners lol..... We will settle this matter this year! :D

need some opinions now;

I have had enough of my Flake-o-motives, I have had them sprayed for the 3rd time now and it just doesn't go right!!

Less than a year of owing the Compo's they flakes badly, had them sprayed and the paint would chip off, had them powder coated and the brake dust baked into the paint even when I had a clear coat put on and then the thrid time were painted the best I had ever seen them but the paint was too soft when fitting the tyres and all but one got marked or scratches badly!!

So now I'm after a set of Speedlines for my trackday tyres and then keep the flake-o-motives for the road tyres for when I have a wet trackday!

Was going to have the Speedline Challange but they are no longer being made in 16" so I am now looking at the Speedline Comp 2's;

Here's the snot with the flake-o-motives

And now the Comp 2's

Answers on a postcard...... should I go for the Speedlines?

Already fitted my old de-badged grille, pedo bear & Eat, Sleep VAG sticker, ordered plates from dubmestier and I have collected some proper Audi S-Line (RS6) 18" rims which are waiting to be fitted. So my old Passat TDi PD130 mapped to 165bhp, lowered, 18" white A8 rims is now for sale..... check out the for sale section :D

The Speedlines do look good but I can't see why you can't get a good finish on the Comp's.

I said the same too Jenk, its weird that they keep flaking!
speak to a guy called "mike the polisher" he will be able to advise you, as it sounds like the place you use is crap!

The Passat now as rs6 rims.

The compo's I have had sprayed had at 3 different places now, all 3 are well known around here for being good at spraying!!!

And because I want 2 sets if rims, 1 set fit my trackday tyres another to fit road tyres!

Think the Speedline would like good then?? Any other ideas post a pic, need to be 16x7 tho

why not get them powdercoated? so durable, my mate had his done like 3 years ago (comp mo6's) and they are like the day he took them home from powdercoaters :S lol

I think some mo6's would look good, but the speedlines would look class too :)

PS is that the chrome front grille, if so, look for a black standard one, looks better :)

Done powder coating..... check my post, had them shot blasted, powder coated and clear coat and after a day at rockingham bought the car home, left it in my folding garage for two days before pulling it out to wash the car.

And the brake dust actually baked itself to the paint! Even the powder coaters never saw it before! Basically had these compo's for 5 years now, had enough after spraying them 3 times and I've kicked off on Compomotive so much in the past that they now ignore me lmao :D
