Problem here is if it is available on their website they think they have some in stock so won't order more. My mate had it with some oil he wanted.

They seem really unorganised, I'm sticking to ebay and hycote next time.

Yeah, went to Homebase in Derby to order my mum a bath, saw a Halfords there, popped in and they had loads in stock!! Greedy mofo's lol. And I'll be there fo' sho'

FFS Halfrauds!!!!!!!!!

2 weeks ago I bought 3 can's of paint for the wheels, obviously needed 4 but they didn't have any in stock. They told me they'll get em in stock this week. I check the internet, I reserve one can. Go in today, they don't have it but on their system its coming up as they do have it. They tell me to wait till next Friday when they might get it in stock if their supplier has it.


I could get it mixed, which will cost more, and the finish will probably be different

Yep thats what happened when I bought one of those 6 drawer tool chests when they were on offer for 50 quid. Reserved it online and went to my local store. They went looking for it but didnt have any in the stockroom so I had to take the display model.

Though I didnt complain as they never checked inside it before loading it into my car, got it home and they had left a brand new socket set in it.

Thats what the other half said after we left the store. If I had knew I was getting the display cabinet I would have. Its a good quality socket set, i have to say.

Lucky for some

Took a trip to Burton to see a man about some seats:

He wanted to get rid as he wanted the space, drivers seat is the worst of the whole set, has a few rips in the bolster, should be an easy enough fix if i can get the right material. Just don't understand why you would let your dog climb around your car and eat the seats!

Apart from that, they're all decent, and they were a bargain!

And yes yes, I'm copying Suj, lol, plan was to clean them up and sell them for a profit, but I think I'll be keeping them for now, because they're so damn comfy! So will keep them until I can find some decent leathers

The drivers seat:

The rip in the seam has been fixed by my amazing mummy, so is just the shredded fabric on the bolster that needs replacing! Only have the front 2 washed and fitted atm, rears I'll be cleaning this week and fitting, then will take pics.

They're really comfy, I didn't know what everyone was raving on about Recaro's for, I do now lol. Tbh if I could wash my car everyday I would lol!

Machine polished using Meguiars speed glaze, 80 cut, and then coated in Autoglym HD wax

Well, today I finished off my last wheel.

Freshly painted last night:

Wet sanded down

Polished (getting used to it now!)

Oh and how could I forget.......Did someone say down and out?

Sorry for the crap quality pics, will get better ones when the rears are fitted. Needing new tyres atm. I love the poke on the front, that is with 20mm spacers that were meant for the back lol. I think I'll downgrade to 10mm on the front!
