alright i am in the market for a new car and am looking to getting a seat leon cupra r. I have found one i liked within my price range (4grand) its priced at 3,995 and obv i would haggle him down a bit and it looks great but the millage is 118,000 and its a 52 plate. I looked at we buy any car for a rough idea in what its worth (im aware they rip u off but was curious anyway and it came out 1,990 which is really low!) its got full service history etc with no faults im aware of. Just looking for an opinion to whether i should go for it or not? worth the money or not? the add reads:

2002 52PLATE LEON CUPRA R
EBONY BLACK
112K WITH FULL SERVICE HISTORY
HAD TIMING BELT CHANGED AT 103K
RECARO SEATS
FULL TURBO BACK BLUE FLAME EXHAUST WITH 100CEL CAT.
FORGE AIR BOX
FORGE RECIRC VALVE
UPRATED CLUTCH
UPRATED DOG BONE MOUNT
TAX TILL JUNE
MOT TILL SUMMER 2011
LOADS OF RECIPTS
ONLY THING CAR NEEDS IS NEW SPARE WHEEL AS PREVIOUS OWNER DAMAGED IT AND IS BEYOND REPAIR.
TWO FRONT TYRES REPLACED RECENTLY REARS LIKE NEW
NEED FOR A VAN FORCES SALE, GOOF FUN QUICK CAR READY FOR STAGE 1 REMAP

opinions please?

Looks a good buy to me, high miles is fine with these engines. Blue flame turbo back system is getting on for 1k new. In fact if its good condition its a steal at that price.

I would say go for a good clean car that has no work done to it. You will find much lower mileage cars for that money that are stranded. My mate got one that was all modded - he went for it cuz he thought he save money doing it all him-self. He's had nothing but issues with the car.

I got mine new and I really like the car and if I was going for another one I would go for one that is slandered.

yeah both fair comments. Im not too fussed about the mods anyway, however after looking on ebay and pistonheads cant really find any other cupra rs that i like within the price range, any other good sites?
