Finally i've done over 3000km.

the car feels really strong even in wg pressure (0.8bar)

maf log was 170+ @ 6000rpm in a S3 maf...

S3 maf 69mm / Cupra maf 60mm = 1.15

so 170*1.15*1.25 = 244hp???

now car needs a new fuel pump... it idles under 1 bar of pressure...

Pump is fitted.
I modded the stock surge tank to fit the Bosch -044 as intank.

Remove the internal pump holder, and the filter at the bottom of the surge tank.
Oversize the hole at the bottom of the surge tank to 29-30mm.
Drill some holes peripheral to the -044s bottom nut so it can draw fuel from inside the surge tank.

and this is it
168580_1398326016536_1783837613_747355_5849790_n.jpg

in the photo i have installed a filter at the bottom which was finally removed as it is too long, but dont worry as -044 has a filter at is own, and the pump cant be fully sinked inside the tank.

Now you can hear that you have a fuel pump... :)

I "upgraded" the fuel filter with the bigger one (almost all 1.8Ts except Ibiza mk3...) now i use a tie wrap to "close" the filter holder.

I relocated the N249-N112 valves, now the rocker cover is "clean"!!

I have bought RCs 550 which i will use with the new setup.

In monday/tuesday i will fit Full 3"/76mm Decat Exhaust

Wednesday i will map the car to Overload Performance

This is not the final setup, since i am waiting the AEM methanol injection + Sem Intake to arrive.
These will be fitted with the Chargecooler and the final ECU map.

Pics will follow...

Car is finally mapped!!!

First, the RCs needed spacers (1.2cm) at fuel rail.

3inch decat exhaust is fitted with ApexI N1 silencer.
Idle and cruise is realy quite but full trhottle sounds like HELL... :D

Car was mapped with ambient temp 1c.
Overboost was 1.6bar (23,2psi), with 1.2bar (17,4psi) @ 6500rpm
FMIC is too small as intake temps reached 23c.
Maf Reading was 247g/s ( /0,8 = 308,75hp)
WOT AFR was 10,5-11
EGT (Probe to exhaust manifold) 850c in 5th gear

With proper FMIC the car can be pushed further....

AEM methanol has arrived but i wait the Sem Intake (with 70mm TB) from INA to come first as i want to fit the chargecooler...

what spec turbo is this again?
nice work..

you will luv the AEM.. nice wmi kit
Thanks a lot Bill.

The turbo is k04-001 hotside with k04-023 housing & compressor wheel, wastegate opens at 0.9bar and it is bolted on a Kinetic manifold.

nice progress there..
that exhaust got to be loud tho? :D

what g/s is it flowing currently?

yes it's pretty loud but it helps me from not hearing the 044 :p

Code:
rpm - g/s
2040 - 53.06
2320 - 88.86
2760 - 116.50
3440 - 164.56
4560 - 212.22
4760 - 220.72
5120 - 231.89
5480 - 240.00
5800 - 239.19
6120 - 243.31

Intereseting project. could you be more specific with spec on turbo, comp wheel etc? Do you have any pics? How do you find the turbine housing running with this power? very hot?

Sounds like a rocket this car:)

There isnt more to say about the specs of the turbo, K04-001 unit with stock k04-023 Compressor wheel and Compressor Housing.

My exhaust temps are 850c ~ 880c with probe in the manifold, so i think that the turbine housing is ok for now.

Very nice figures, though struggling to comprehend how this turbo can physically flow this much air with a standard k04 wheel...?

What TIP are you using?

Is this the calculation used on the latest logs you did on k04-023 comp wheel?
asking as the k03 hybrids, which use a larger turbine and k04 comp wheel flow 227g/s max I have seen on 1.4bar boost
