D90 is a good choice Rod :)

I have 8JX16 all round and with 195/40/16 tyres I run ET 19 on the front and ET 10 rear. This is with no rubbing at all.

I previously ran the wheels with 205/40/16 tyres and the front rubbed like crazy at ET25. Rear was ET19 during this period and it was fine.

Hope this of some help.

Wicked man! Is tht with the ap's all the way down! U think it'll b low enough? I was thinking bout air but really don't fancy paying 1600 notes just for my car to sit slightly better!

Loving your interior by the way! Really nice! How much it set u bk in the end?

No worries man. Its always tricky getting the offset etc right to avoid rubbing! Yes all of the above is with the AP's wound all the way down. You should be able to sit low enough but if that fails you could get custom springs made up. I had a quote before and it was about £130.00 for a pair.

I know exactly what you mean about air-ride. The set up i'm looking at is freaking crazy of expensive. And as you said, its just to getting it sitting better at the end of the day. Hard to justify.

Thanks dude :). Yet to finish the interior as I have the gaitor and door cards left to do. I'll PM you the price a.s.a.p

I'm all the way down with adaptors out on Weitecs, front is nearly all the way down. Can't go any lower because of the undertray/sump issues.

Should look great with 30mm/40mm spacers on!

i have been trying on adapters and stuff today and i think for the back sit perfect with 30mm. any more and there will be alot of rim out of the arch! i have to weitec with the adjusters out and for me it doesnt wuite sit low enough, so i am going to buy shortened spring to put it lower! i think the front sit lovely on with the coilies almost all the way down!

how have you managed to get it tracked? and how close is the sump?

sorry all the questions lol!

Might have to find some 30mm spacers then!

Tracking wise never had it done, so the inner of my tyres wear slightly quicker than the rest. Sump wise I'll scrap on a slightly Cambered road lol.

Shallow sump would be nice, I could take the undertray off but that would leave the sump fully exposed then...

Driveshaft angle I have no idea, because I have the Weitec kit I didn;t need adjustable drop links. Had my current kit on for about 5,000 miles and no issues at all really.

A mate also has a MK4 golf, and he has just snapped his driveshaft

The wheels on now? Pics?

Yeh thats very true actually  I like it being on though because I can hear it scrap and adjust my road position...

You should screw some very thin metal to it, maybe tin, then it'll spark like fook when you hit a bump. Will look mega cool - but probably cause fires!

not going to have the whees on for a month or two, i have got to order shorter springs which take 20 days to make for the back to sit it lower and get two more 30mm adapters - funds arent the best after xmas!

i think i am going to get the shallow sump at the same time! i am not in the mood for sparks lol!

have you got any pics of the fronts all the way down just so i can see how low mine should go? how high is your subframe off the floor too?
