Nice car matey! Good list of mods and it's coming along nicely.

How do you fit the numberplate bulbs that you bought? Is this done on opening the boot and looking around there? Sorry, never even thought about changing these.

Must get my ARB's, braces and brakes sorted once I've got past this next month or so!

Liquid Cube mounting!

Been out to the car to get an idea of where to mount the Liquid Cube (not to the window).

Here's what I came up with:

centre console below the ashtray

centre console with ashtray removed

top of the hole next to the drivers right leg

bottom of the hole next to the drivers right leg

in the glovebox

below the glovebox

next to the handbrake

between the speedo and rev counter

I'm undecided so opinions and ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers

Cheers mate!

If you use a small flat head screw driver you can just pop the cover off then change the bulb!

Truthfully mate I didnt think it through! just bought one and now have to try and mount it somewhere:shrug:

Stage 2 is awesome mate. I dont drive like an idiot but its good to know all that powers under my right foot. I'm looking forward to getting the arb's fitted to hopefully get the handling to match.

If you mean the Liquid gauge it takes its readings from the MAF or ECU and as far as I'm aware its fairly accurate. I've not been out in the car since getting it so cant personally comment.

The only probelm with it being down there is it's out of your line of sight,
I look at my boost and oil temp guages a lot while driving so I think it would be too far out of the way down there

Fair point mate. Not really where i wanted it but not sure where else it could go unless its on the window or in the drivers air vent and i wasnt keen on either of them, If I had got the kit instead of the cube I would have put it in the sun visor, I should of thought ahead really:doh:. I'v already got a boost gauge in sight though. :D

+1

I've got a double stepper gauge waiting to be fitted but can't think anywhere else I'd have liked boost/oil temp info than the pillar tbh. Just seems easier to glance at..

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all have a goodin!

Got my front and rear ARB's fitted last year;). Picked the car up yesterday morning but as of yet I've not been anywhere to check them out although a had a quick muck about on the way home from the garage. The car seems more stable and theres a definate improvement in the way it changes direction.

Rear Arb fitted:

I've not got one of the front
